Hello Campers & Glampers! Our property is 16.5 acres, two of which are along the Tygart Valley River and the rest are within forest canopy on the mountainside. We are in the low foothills of the Appalachia. We have 4 riverfront sites and we are continually changing our space around This year we will be adding a tiny house on site 4 and a sweatlodge with soaking pool on Site 1 additional camping spots along the property near outhouse Each site is equipped with a steel fire pit/grill and a picnic table. We have been busy building hiking trails and more primitive campsites on the 14.5 acres on the hillside across the road from the riverfront for all to enjoy. Step outside your tent and enjoy natures bounty —outdoor activities including fishing, kayaking, hiking, bird watching are all at your fingertips and much more. There are 300+ acres of public land less than one mile away with miles of ATV and hiking trails and stocked ponds. If you're a fan of waterfalls just 4 miles down river is Arden Falls, one of our areas best kept secrets. The Tygart Valley River is one of the top kayaking rivers in the country. Audra State Park is less than 20 minutes away with lush forest trails with caves to explore. Well known hiking trails such as Seneca Rocks, Spruce Knob, and the Dolly Sods are all within an hour drive. Go to Nelson Rocks for the ultimate climbing experience on the Via Ferrata. We are the perfect place to come to explore the wild beauty of West Virginia without the crowds. A hidden gem!

River Front Site #1 tent/van/car

Camping with my sons and my dog.

My 2 sons and I loved camping at EarthSky! It was very secluded and we had the entire place to ourselves. Even though we didn’t catch any fish to fry (the river was extremely low), we enjoyed steak cooked over the campfire. The starry night sky was amazing and the views were simply beautiful! This place was exactly what we were looking for! My German Shepherd had the time of his life with the freedom to run around and going down to the river as well. We will definitely be back!

Camping at EarthSky Site #4

We had a great time camping at Earth Sky. We were fortunate to have been the only campers there, which was nice. If you are looking for seclusion though, be mindful that the 4 sites here are very close together.

We had an absolute (albeit cold) weekend at Emily's land. The campsites are beautiful and Dustin and Emily coube more welcoming. We will definitely returning next year with slightly warmer nights. So much great stuff to do and explore around the campground and it's also a perfect place to just unwind and relax.

I had the best time at EarthSky! The location is stunning and off the beaten path. Hosts are friendly and responsive. Ask for hiking recommendations! :) Some notes for fellow women solo campers: as others pointed out, the campsites are spaced out well, but all in full view of each other. The camp is off right off of a road, but it’s mostly local use—to find the camp you have to know it’s there, so no random people are just wandering in off the street. There’s a strong enough cell signal at the site for calls and text messages. Overall, I felt very safe and at peace!

Awesome piece of heaven in earth

Dear Emely and Dusty, I wanted to take a moment to thank you both for providing such an amazing experience at Earth Sky! Our stay at your campsite was truly unforgettable. The entire site was incredibly clean and well-maintained, which made us feel comfortable and relaxed throughout our time there. We also appreciated how friendly and respectful the other campers were during our 2 day stay.
