Welcome to Coal Siding Cabin on the Cherry River! Enjoy river views from the covered front porch or large open deck. Offers 2 bedrooms one with a queen, one with a full over queen bunk and 1 bath. We can also be found on FB at Coal Siding Cabin! The space The living and kitchen space features a vaulted ceiling and floor to ceiling stone fireplace. The open layout of the living space offers lots of room for guests with a cozy feel for a quiet evening in. Multiple doors in the living area open for a nice breeze while you listen to the wildlife, river and the rustling of leaves in the wind. Head to the lower level to a large family room with laundry, a big flat screen tv, board games, table hockey, darts and a pool table. The cabin offers no neighbors for miles, off a main road for easy access; all across from the Cherry River and Monongahela National Forest. Behind the cabin is woodlands for miles. Walk across the road to river for fishing, swimming, or just passing the time listening to the small rapids or the raging river in the winter time. Enjoy the large open deck featuring multiple seating options, including a hammock for 2. Or sit on the covered porch and watch for the local eagles, hawks, herons, and other birds as they make their way along the riversides. Local kayaking, trail heads, bird watching, plenty of lakes, streams and rivers to explore. Sit by a fire pit and enjoy the night sky, Beautiful setting with limited light pollution to enjoy star gazing and beautiful views of the Milky Way. Great opportunity to watch meteor showers!
