Welcome to the enchanting Brooklyn Heights Riverfront Campground, a pristine natural paradise nestled nearby the Monongahela National Forest and graced by the stunning Dry Fork River. Since our grand opening in July 2022, we've been welcoming guests year-round to explore and enjoy our 35 acres of unspoiled wilderness forest, complete with winding trails and a captivating 2100 feet of riverfront. Our diverse accommodations cater to all outdoor enthusiasts. Choose from 15 camping sites, each equipped with fire pits and slabwood benches amidst ample parking. For those seeking a rustic retreat, our 5 primitive shelter cabin sites feature cozy 10x12 lofted barn cabins, securely lockable with your padlock. RV adventurers are welcome too, with 10 picturesque near riverside spots (best suited for towed RVs up to 30 feet). Four of these provide full electric and water hook-ups, while the other six offer a serene boon-docking experience. Immerse yourself in the beauty of nearly 4 miles of wilderness riverfront, situated on a breathtaking road leading to the charming town of Parsons, WV - the heart of Tucker County and gateway to Thomas, Davis, and Canaan Valley. Your adventure starts here: kayak down the merging Dry Fork and Black Fork Rivers, stroll over to the nearby Hendricks via a charming cable suspension bridge, or explore the Fernow Experimental Forest, just a mile downstream. The surrounding Monongahela National Forest awaits with its vast, unlogged forests. Thrill-seekers and nature lovers alike will find no shortage of activities. From waterfall explorations, creek adventures, and fishing to kayaking, tubing, and hiking, there's something for everyone. Don't forget to bring your bikes, kayaks, tubes, roller blades, snorkels, goggles, and river shoes for an unforgettable outdoor experience! Our camp provides spring water spigots for general use, an office cabin with electric charging access, and clean porta-potties. Wi-Fi is available near the office cabin (password: campground19). The lovely town of Parsons, with all its conveniences, is just a 4-mile drive away. For a seamless experience, we offer online booking and self-check-in, with check-in starting at noon and designated parking spots for each campsite. Join us at Brooklyn Heights Riverfront Campground for a stay that promises tranquility, adventure, and a connection with nature like no other.

RV1 - Electric RV-site
Very nice host.
The road to Brooklyn Heights Campground is quite precarious. I would not do it again in our class C. The campground is not complete with no dump station, flush toilets, or showers. There are 2 porta potties available. The water at the site was labeled non-potable. The river is beautiful and the campground provides lots of floats. It is a work in progress.

A1 Campsite
A1 Camp site is very spacious and pretty private considering you're close to cabins and RV's. It's a nice little nook for like a family of 4-6. Little walk to the beach/river part. But, we we're really there just to sit in the woods and little to nature for a little bit; & this site is great for that!

Amazing stay and hospitality
Great stay with a beautiful and relaxing environment. Vincent is awesome and made me feel welcome. His hospitality was above and beyond because I accidentally parked in the wrong site, however, he was able to allow me to stay after unpacking everything and saved me from an inconvenience that was clearly my mistake. I would definitely recommend staying at Vincent's campsite. The river was refreshing to take a swim in and the bridge was fun to walk across too. :)

B3 Campsite
We loved the private campground, nestled back in the woods. The river was beautiful and the neighbors were very respectful of campground policies. The kiosk was one of the best parts. Special time was taken to do such simple, yet thoughtful, gestures for the camp guests! There is a little gathering area with teas, hot chocolates, and coffees open 24-7. Loved this place! We will be going again.

Best first camping adventure ever
My partner and I absolutely loved staying at Vincent’s campsite. This was the first time we went out camping and it was very beginner friendly. They have firewood available if you run out, the host is very nice and seems to take his job seriously. There’s so much nature and a lot of beautiful sites. It’s also right next to a couple of other towns that have beautiful scenery, like Thomas has a cute little tourist attraction with an art gallery and artsy places. There’s also Douglas falls that’s nearby that’s so beautiful it’s like stepping into a rainforest. Highly recommend, especially for beginners.

RV9 - Primitive RV Site
I love this campground. The location is a perfect balance of remote but accessible. The beach and multiple river access points are a huge plus. I love that the sites are well shaded and private but still close walking distance to campground amenities. Everyone we talked to was friendly. We had a wonderful time and will definitely return. Thanks for a great stay!
