Welcome to the enchanting Brooklyn Heights Riverfront Campground, a pristine natural paradise nestled nearby the Monongahela National Forest and graced by the stunning Dry Fork River. Since our grand opening in July 2022, we've been welcoming guests year-round to explore and enjoy our 35 acres of unspoiled wilderness forest, complete with winding trails and a captivating 2100 feet of riverfront. Our diverse accommodations cater to all outdoor enthusiasts. Choose from 15 camping sites, each equipped with fire pits and slabwood benches amidst ample parking. For those seeking a rustic retreat, our 5 primitive shelter cabin sites feature cozy 10x12 lofted barn cabins, securely lockable with your padlock. RV adventurers are welcome too, with 10 picturesque near riverside spots (best suited for towed RVs up to 30 feet). Four of these provide full electric and water hook-ups, while the other six offer a serene boon-docking experience. Immerse yourself in the beauty of nearly 4 miles of wilderness riverfront, situated on a breathtaking road leading to the charming town of Parsons, WV - the heart of Tucker County and gateway to Thomas, Davis, and Canaan Valley. Your adventure starts here: kayak down the merging Dry Fork and Black Fork Rivers, stroll over to the nearby Hendricks via a charming cable suspension bridge, or explore the Fernow Experimental Forest, just a mile downstream. The surrounding Monongahela National Forest awaits with its vast, unlogged forests. Thrill-seekers and nature lovers alike will find no shortage of activities. From waterfall explorations, creek adventures, and fishing to kayaking, tubing, and hiking, there's something for everyone. Don't forget to bring your bikes, kayaks, tubes, roller blades, snorkels, goggles, and river shoes for an unforgettable outdoor experience! Our camp provides spring water spigots for general use, an office cabin with electric charging access, and clean porta-potties. Wi-Fi is available near the office cabin (password: campground19). The lovely town of Parsons, with all its conveniences, is just a 4-mile drive away. For a seamless experience, we offer online booking and self-check-in, with check-in starting at noon and designated parking spots for each campsite. RV4 - Electric RV-site

RV-4 Electric Site

We absolutely loved our 3-night stay at RV-4! The site was large and shaded, Vince was wonderful to deal with in every way, the swimming area along the river was gorgeous and offered a lot of amenities, the campground had coffee and hot chocolate for sale for $2 (which was a blessing because our coffee machine broke that weekend!), the firewood was a good deal, the few neighbors we had were really sweet... We have zero complaints about our stay! In fact, we only have praises for the entire operation! We can't wait to go back to RV-4 one of these days!

RF1 - Group Riverfront Campsite

Loved the site!

RF1 was a great campsite! Super private, and right on the water! We had a group of 9, and there was plenty of space for all of us and all our stuff. We rarely heard or saw any of our “neighbors” since the site is kinda tucked away in the trees by the river. The bridge is a short walk away, and you can see the stars so clearly! There was a cute spot near the office to purchase coffee, or just sit and chill, and the porta potties were clean. Super pleased, we had a blast!

The campsite was secluded and peaceful. We had a wonderful time! The part of the river was deep for swimming and our kids had a wonderful time. Beautiful, quiet, and staff constantly working to improve the campsite! We highly recommend and will be back !

RV2 - Electric RV-site

Perfect for adventurers!

This was our first campground experience in our travel trailer. I was drawn to this campground for its proximity to the river, bike trails, and secluded location. We only live about an hour away, so I found the camp on Facebook a few months ago and have been following the fun updates ever since. The campground hit the mark on all points, plus many more. We were super pleased with the spacious sites tucked into the natural surroundings. The pre-cut firewood, wifi, and coffee tent were lovely additions to our stay. The beach, complete with tubes and a floating island, were amazing after a long day of biking. We will 100% be back later this year and are hoping to bring along some more of the family with us! Simply amazing!
