14' yurt overlooking Williams Lake
Beautiful Yurt, great spot to watch the sunrise. We stayed for a quick night on our way out of Washington on a road trip, and this was a super cozy way to start our journey!

Great place to stay
Great little place for a nights stay! Clean and simple it made glamping easy! We had three of us there, but if you’re coming with 4 people you would probably need to bring a sleeping mat.
Cindy was a very kind and helpful host.

Tent camping at Williams Lake
Thwarted by the Ground
First I want to say the hosts were amazing and provided separate accomdation so that we didn't have to find another location. I was very grateful for that, otherwise I would have had a long evening drive. The camp sites, however, were a different story.
Note that parts of this review may not apply for smaller tents with smaller stakes.
I have a 10' x 10' Kodiak tension tent and found it difficult to find a flat area free of debris. There was 1.5' - 2' tall grass covering both sites upon arrival. Despite the signs telling me where to setup, there wasn't any obvious / clear area to setup my tent (I'm sure this was just an oversight by the hosts on this specific occasion though). Once I stomped down enough grass to setup my home for the evening, the ground quickly thwarted my next efforts. The ground was a combination of rocks, stumps, and various debris. I spent 40 minutes trying to hammer in just my corner stakes (4 of the 14 - 10" stakes required) with a rubber mallet. Thinking maybe if I could get those driven in, then my tent would hold for the night. I turned my tent every which way, but kept striking solid rock 5-6" down. I could not for the life of me get a stake all the way into the ground, or even down enough to be confident my tent would stay up. Perhaps if I had a mini-sledge it would have been different, but even then I'm unsure if my stakes or the ground would have won.
Tent camping at Williams Lake
The site was nice, but very basic and not adjacent to the lake like i had assumed. the sites could have a level tent pad to avoid the lumps nd uneven ground where you are allowed to camp. At $35 for one night, it's a little pricy for what you get
