Vacay' or farm-stay. Your personal, primitive campsite promotes quiet seclusion and privacy, while maintaining wide open space for sunbathing and star gazing. Bring your kayaks, bikes, or egg basket for whichever adventure awaits you.
We are a first generation, working 16 acre homestead in Langley, WA on beautiful Whidbey Island. We've only been building up our homestead for about 2 years, so the farm only covers a few acres - the rest is naturally regenerating wilderness. Around the hill and below in the "wild meadow" we've cleared out a vehicle trail to a secluded spot for camping. Though we raise chickens, goats, a cow and a pig nearby, you would never know it from your camp site.
Our property is far enough from the city to feel remote and surrounded by wildlife, yet we are a 15 minute bicycle ride from the beach and the town of Langley and all the benefits that civilization has to offer. Beachcombing, wine tasting, concerts, hiking, fishing, crabbing, kayaking, swimming, and dining, just to name a few.
• Dogs are welcome, but not allowed to roam freely. Please leash while exploring and please pick up after them.
• Potable water is available on the property at well-house.
• Public restrooms nearby (24/7),
• Public showers nearby (10-5),
• An RV dump station nearby (24/7).
* No fireworks, firearms, or hunting.
* No chainsaws.

Welcome and enjoy!
Randall’s place worked out well for us. We were in the back space, which was green and pretty, with a fire pit and lots of privacy. We were only there for a quick overnight for an event in Langley, and it worked pretty well for that!
You do have to be comfortable using the facilities in your own rig, because as the listing clearly states - they don’t currently have any other options.
I met Randall, and he was very personable and helpful.

Randall was a great host! His replies were very quick and knowledgeable. He and his family put a lot of effort into maintaining this special spot. This place in particular is amazing for some good solitude and the by far the cheapest on the island. I always have a great time here whether it’s with friends or solo.

We had such a great time camping on Randall’s land. Tucked away from the road it was very private. There was a little fire pit and Randall provided wood to take for a donation. It was a wonderful stay and a great place to catch up with some friends! Thank you for having us.

We had never used this app before and were a little bit skeptical going into it. However, the Ellis family made everything seamless! They sent us directions and even pulling up with no light out, we were able to find the camp spot. We had a great quiet stay, you’d never know there’s a farm not far away. We would 100% come back to stay if we’re ever in the area again! Thank you Ellis family!

Convenient location, especially to the Clinton ferry. We just stayed one night to catch an early morning ferry and it met our needs. Host had great communication. Definitely felt private from everything else. We had a tent, and this would be much better fit for a camper, that was accurately described on Hipcamp though!
