When Earl and Laurine Ingebright found an ad in a local paper for sixty acres near Arlington, in 1958, they knew it would be a place for family fun, relaxation, and their own private forest. What they could not have anticipated was the sheer diversity of projects, parties, and fun that the family would pursue on the property over the coming generations. From forest stewardship and timber harvesting, to campsites and trail construction, to rock concerts and wine making. While they have since passed, these founders began something truly amazing; A tree farm that showcases the successful accomplishment of almost every objective a forest landowner could have. Timber production, wildlife, aesthetics, recreation, and forest resiliency. Valhalla embodies all these things with so little conflict as to look effortless.

Popcorn Pond RV Camp
The site was beautifully maintained, with plenty of space for setting up a tarp and a great spot for campfires. The views were breathtaking, and the amenities made our stay comfortable and enjoyable. The hosts were incredibly friendly and helpful, making sure we had everything we needed. I highly recommend this spot to anyone looking for a peaceful and scenic getaway.

Site 2 Walk-In
Even better.
I always like staying at the walk-in site, and this time it looks like there have been some improvements since I was last there. I noticed a brand new outhouse, two more tent sites, and a gravel path over to the trees, where you can hang a hammock. I had a nice time this weekend, with a little bit of rain I was able to hide from under the covered shelter—for the most part, anyway.

Huckleberry Hill Shelter Camp
We loved tent camping at Huckleberry Hill! It was so well set up with the shelter, fire pit and firewood, and spring water. The view of Deer Mountain was beautiful and it felt secluded and private. Dave’s directions were clear and helpful, and we appreciated all the signed trails and places to walk and take in the beautiful property. The farm dog Sage was so sweet wanting to play fetch, our toddler loved walking around looking for blueberries and taking the lead on trails, and the fresh cut dahlias from Dave were such a beautiful treat. We’d love to come back and try other sites in different seasons.

Huckleberry Hill Shelter Camp
I booked this site for one night super last minute and it was perfect for what I was looking for! It was an easy drive from Seattle, the instructions to get in were clear, and it was really nice to spend the afternoon exploring the property and relaxing in my hammock. It did rain a little overnight and I stayed dry in my tent, but the shelter would be really nice if it had rained more to either have a dry place to eat and hang out or be able to avoid having to pack up a wet tent! Dave was very communicative and even left me some flowers and a zucchini at the site. I would love to be able to return when I have a little more time!

Site 2 Walk-In
I really can’t say enough great things about Valhalla! My sister and I, along with our two doggos, decided to try out Dave’s Creekside Camp and we absolutely loved it. The facilities were well maintained and the land is so peaceful and quiet. 10000/10 would definitely return!
