Spend the night in a magical old growth forest only a few minutes walk from the Ashford town center. Enjoy two mountain creeks, a waterfall, 900 year old cedars, trails, firepits, and much more. This property is truly a sacred sanctuary. A portal into another dimension. We hope you enjoy it as much as we do.Pitch your tent in a truly beautiful old growth forest just a few minutes walk from the Ashford Town Center. This is truly a sacred sanctuary full of beautiful trees, fungi, and wildlife. Connect with nature through this portal into another dimension. Words cannot adequately describe the beauty, enchantment, and energy of this property. This is the main campsite on the property. It is a large and spacious campsite which can accommodate numerous large tents. The site has a designated firepit with access to the main creek. It is the closest site to the compost toilet and about 1-2 minute walk from parking. *Please note - All campsites on the property are located on a shared trail in the same general vicinity as other campers. There is approximately 50 feet between each site separated by foliage and trees. You will likely see, hear and interact with other campers, my family and our guests during your stay. If you prefer something more isolated this may not be the property for you as many people visit here to enjoy this wonderful space. I can assure you that everyone is encouraged to be respectful and friendly during their stay. If you happen to be unsatisfied with the designated accommodations, the property is quite large and has a few other open areas that are more isolated and could easily accommodate a tent. We can always arrange for you to stay in the alternate location. This is not preferred but it is always an option as I want my guests to be happy and relaxed during their stay here in the Enchanted Forest. Just communicate your needs and I will try my best to accommodate. Thanks!

Amazing Experience
If you are looking for a place to stay near Mt. Rainier look no further. John and his family were more than welcoming and made us feel right at home. The property is beautiful with many nooks and crannies to explore. Even though it was late in the season we were able to forage some blackberries from Johns garden. There is a peaceful, calming, inclusive energy about this land and we will be back. Words can't begin to describe how great of an experience it was. Thank you John for allowing us to experience your beautiful home.

Breathe in the beauty!
Absolutely beautiful! Lovely family greeted us. It was in a gorgeous forest with a creek running through. Very secluded. They included firewood 🪵 for us to use. There also was a compost toilet available too. Lots of paths to explore and 900 year old trees 🌲

loved the whimsy. from the little relics scattered throughout the woods to the trampoline in the open field, this land was an unexpectedly fun retreat before my friend and I visited rainier. all the best to john!

This property is truly magic - lots of great sites, and even better hospitality! John met us when we arrived and walked us through the entire (incredible!) property. So many cool things to discover on the property! Highly recommend this site. We will be back!

This was a great spot near Mt. Rainer. The host was super hospitable and showed me around before I set up. Quiet and cozy.
