Incredible location! This sweet cabin is nestled at the base of Mt. Jupiter, directly between Dosewallips beach and the Olympic national Park. There's lots of gorgeous, mossy maples, shaggy cedars, and elk herds roaming free. The Cabin is easily accessible from the road, and has parking available. There's a secluded fire pit behind the cabin with a seasonal stream running by. Its a relaxing place to hang out for a few days, and/or excellent basecamp to explore the amazing forests, mountains, and beaches nearby. Also, there's lots of great foraging to be done (nettles, mushrooms, and oysters; oh my!) GPS LOCATION: When driving to the cabin, your GPS will tell you that 'your destination is on the left'. This is a lie. The cabin will be on the right. There is a metal gate that is closed with a chain but not locked. CABIN LAYOUT AND SLEEPING AMENITIES: The Cabin is just a little guy; only 16'x20'. There is a kitchen, living room, and dining room area, and the bathroom is a separate room - we call it our 'studio cabin'. We have a fold out couch for which we provide linens, pillows, and a comforter. There is also an inflatable mattress that is a tight squeeze, but can allow for four people to sleep (with a little furniture rearranging). There is a deck that is large enough for a two person tent that would also make a four person camp-out comfortable. All linens and towels are stored in the trunk and the bathroom cabinet. There is a 4' round dining room table with four chairs and a small table on the porch with two more chairs. All the cushions for the chairs are in a cabinet under the table inside. ACCESSIBILITY: Unfortunately, the cabin is not wheelchair accessible. There are 5 stairs up to the deck and the bathroom door is only 27" wide. SURROUNDING AREA: There are small trails leading away from the cabin; do not walk down them! They lead to neighboring properties and I cannot guarantee that there won't be neighbors who would be very surprised by a stranger showing up on their land! There are lots of public trails only a few minutes drive in either direction from the property :) STOLEN LAND: This property is on stolen, indigenous land. If you are Coast Salish or Makah, please get in touch with me for a discounted stay.Incredible location! This sweet cabin is nestled at the base of Mt. TEMPORARY RISE IN CLEANING FEE: I live 50 miles away and have to drive to clean the property. Gas prices are quite high and I require a little extra to break even on costs. Cozy and comfortable cabin!
We loved staying at this little cabin! The location is great for so many hikes, restaurants, and beach adventures. Amy gave clear instructions on getting to the spot, checking in, and using the kitchen appliances. The kitchen was surprisingly spacious, and well-stocked. It looks like previous guests have left a handful of items there, and we tried to take advantage of a few of them. I left a picture from when we left (August 1, 2024) in case that helps anyone plan (keep in mind, some of these things may have expired). We were also very impressed with the shower and how well the hot water heater worked. The bathroom was well stocked, and the living room had fun games and books for us to enjoy.

The cabin was in a nice location and was a nice step above camping. It was nice to have hot water, lights, and a locking door. It is a tiny studio cabin and u have to move the table to use the pull out couch or air mattress. We were just glad to be indoors when it rained. Also glad to have a mini fridge and ipod that played music. There's little to no cell service which we were fine with. When we arrived after check in time, not early) the owner was still there cleaning which startled us as there was no car to signal someone was there! She promptly left and headed down a trail behind the cabin and said she lived on the other end of the property? We have a really dog reactive dog who thankfully was in the car still as she also had dogs with her as well. That made us feel a bit uneasy as the info on the cabin said the owner lived far away and it was a secluded cabin? We never saw them again during our stay but we weren't sure if we should walk around the property at all or would wander too far near their side.

Cute Cabin, Great Location
Great little cabin with a great location for a jumping off point to all the outdoor activities in the hood canal area. The cabin is cozy and well decorated. The kitchen was well stocked with pots, pans, knives, and basic spices.

This was a lovely alternative to tent camping in a public campground. I learned last year how much I value my own restroom and a place to cook out of potential rain. This worked well for our family of 5 (older kids sleeping in tents). Our dog was in heaven. My husband and I thought this would be particularly lovely as a romantic retreat as a couple.

Our second trip to this cozy, quiet cabin in the woods. The perfect place to escape for the weekend. Cabin has the essentials and nothing more- which is perfect. Surrounding area is always fun to explore and this makes a great home base.

Picturesque Summer Solstice
We had a lovely summer solstice at Amy’s cabin. It was so quiet and peaceful. The cabin had everything we needed and was very charming. Our dog enjoyed romping in the grass and sniffing the foxglove. 10/10!
