Alder Grove walk-in Glamping
We loved the Alder Grove site, it feels very private and has a great view of the river. We really enjoyed exploring the property and sitting around the fire. There is easy access down to the water and our dog loved getting to splash around and play in the woods. All in all it was a great weekend getaway!

Chickens, tadpoles, deers Oh My!
Such a lovely visit! Lounging in the creek was perfect on a warm afternoon. And our daughter LOVED exploring the grounds and meeting the critters. Nice and close to the national park and surrounding lakes. Also best toilet at a Hipcamp yet!

Garden Party RV Site
We didn’t make it to our campsite due to challenging weather but our host was a great communicator and so responsive. We are truly committed to getting to this Hipcamp in the future!!

Best Camp Site & Host Ever!
LOVED (!!!) this experience. This site has everything you possibly want! Options of tent camping, cabin, RV hookup or glamping site - and only 2 are ever booked simultaneously so you have soooo much space for your camping crew. We did the camp site in the Upper Meadow and it was such a clutch set up - nice soft mulch out for the tenting spot (definitely enough to put up two tents if needed) - great little fire pit, tables and chairs - water spigots that pour crystal clear fresh water from the mountains - a clean private outdoor toilet. On site we had access to the river, ponds, the forest, and more! My boys and I could not have had a more perfect adventure spot to explore nature.
And the world is overly used, but when I say host Margot was fabulous, I mean FABULOUS!!! She was so very friendly, helpful, insightful, and beyond accommodating. Hands down the best host we’ve ever had in any renting experience.
We got to hang out with and feed chickens (and some new baby chicks), see the adorable little tadpoles in the pond, and go on walks to admire all the forest creatures.
Further, while it’s secluded and very private, it’s a short drive from a couple of general stores, which came in handy. Mt. Rainier National Park is a quick drive away (~25 minutes) and was stunning.
Also, this was my first time camping with my little boys as a single parent. I was a nervous but determined to make it work. From our first message on, Margot supported me and made me feel confident!

Peaceful stay !
Margot has a beautiful setup! I so enjoyed staying on her property and she was an excellent host! The property has it all- forest, river, gardens with chickens and ducks, and is spaced out so that guests have a private experience. The RV site we used (Garden party) has hookups for electric and water, and its easy to turn around. Margot is very attentive to her guests and the campground is very peaceful and quiet. Also, great access to Mt.Rainier, its about 20 min away. Highly recommended!!!
