Unbelievable views overlooking wineries and orchards, Mt Hood and Columbia River. Park your RV or tent in the Columbia Gorge National Scenic Area. Famous wineries and cherry orchards are all nearby. This is the perfect place to enjoy the wine you purchased during a wine-tasting tour! 10-minute drive to White Salmon and Hood River. Proximity to mountain biking, hiking, kiteboarding, windsurfing and more. We have one huge RV site available for campers to book. With the RV site, you have the option to book the treehouse as an “Extra”. Only one "campsite" is available on the property. Which means you're the only people out here. Peace and privacy abound. You can choose wherever you want to put your tent. I open up my land to only one group at a time. Cell service is strong at the property. Work remotely while overlooking the view, and multiple picnic table locations. The treehouse has stools and countertops/desktops to work from if you choose to rent that as well. Rowland Lake is a great swimming spot at the bottom of the road (2 miles). I look forward to hosting you! Also, sign up for Breezeby toll system if you plan to cross the hood river and bridge of the gods. Half price tolling! http://zwwr6w7p.r.us-west-2.awstrack.me/L0/http:%2F%2Fwww.portofhoodriver.com/1/010101949036b5f8-a9340d47-e683-4fd4-8fa3-834eb170f7b0-000000/556k1Fk4OAmgZIIzQ3m9d0-dlag=411Only 1 camp"site" on my property. 5 acres for your campsite and my house. That's it! And, Bordered by USFS land gives you freedom and choices and space and privacy. Right next to the Coyote Sincline wall and unbelievable views of the Columbia River Gorge and Mt Hood. Private Trails from the property to USFS Land. There are benches, swings, multiple viewing areas along the hillside, an RV site and multiple tent camp areas. There are short trails to several additional level areas for multiple tents and groups. Choose to upgrade your stay and use the treehouse for an even better glamping experience (see extras section below). If interested, please add this extra to your reservation when booking. The treehouse has a propane cooking burner in the kitchen , mini fridge, and electricity. There is a queen-sized air mattress with an electric pump (just provide your own bedding). Countertops for cooking. Upstairs is the bedroom and living area with beautiful views. Has built-in stools and counters/ tabletops. It's an open-air treehouse. Please See pictures. Same builder as tropical treehouse in Puerto Rico! The campsite has water and a 15amp electric hookup available. The driveway area can accommodate a large truck and 30' trailer or about a 45' motorhome. Backing into the spot gets your trailer door overlooking the view. The level parking area can accommodate tents, trailers, RV's, or large groups. The ½mile driveway is gravel. There are multiple picnic tables depending on where you want to set up. The parking area has grass and gravel and closer proximity to the bathroom that's in the basement of the house. There are multiple trails above that lead to level areas on the hillside. Some trails have stairs, some don't have stairs but up the hill to those other tent spots. The treehouse is down a short foot trail from the parking area. The bathroom is a mowed grass path to the unfinished basement in the house with a flushing toilet, bidet, and sink. Read the reviews of the privacy this place provides! No other campers in the area but you and your group. There are multiple-level tent sites along the hillside if coming with a group. There is currently only one very large RV parking spot overlooking the river that can accommodate a couple of campers and cars. It's not a pull-through. Recommendation: bring a portable gas camp fireplace to use because a wood campfire ban is in effect most of the year. Usually, from November to May there is a wood-burning fire pit to use (firewood for sale upon request). If you're looking at the weather forecast, I found that this property is a mixture of Lyle, WA and White Salmon, WA forecast.

Beautiful spot and great accommodating host. We did have a mass attack from ticks during our stay but they are everywhere this time of year.

Great time at River’s ridge
28 ft travel trailer · With pets
Rivers ridge was fantastic. Absolutely beautiful view and the perfect spot to hook up our camping trailer. There was electrical right where we needed it and a basement bathroom we were able to use right down a short path. We are looking forward to going back in the summer and renting the treehouse as well. One thing to note, is it’s a steep road up. We tow a trailer with our van and I wouldn’t want to try it if it was really rainy or any other bad weather. The directions provided by Robert are incredibly easy to follow (don’t use the ones by maps).

What a Great Spot!
14 ft toy hauler · With pets
What an epic spot! Not only is the view of the river amazing, but the little area to park your teardrop and enjoy the views is well maintained, easy to get to, spacious to put up camp and overall very enjoyable. There’s trails that lead out from camp to explore, as well as cleared smaller areas where a tent would fit perfectly in. (Beware of ticks, though! We didn’t realize they’d be out in full force mid-February). Robert was very nice and the basement restroom that was made accessible to us was handy when the rain was super heavy. Even though the camp spot isn’t really secluded on the property (the main house is really close), we felt the space to be pretty private regardless. We’d absolutely come back again for a stay - hopefully in warmer, rain-free weather next time!

Best Hipcamp riverview in WA/OR!
15 ft travel trailer
Gorgeous top of the world view! (don't go left up the road just before proper right turn...scary ass drive to the actual top of the world, oy!) Nice flat spot. Fun tree swing and 2x tree swinging benches that perfect the viewing options. Sturdy picnic table, cord and hose right to site. Private drive to exercise the mutt and cat. It's a curvy, steep trek up but road is new and gravel drive is well maintained. We were in a Subaru outback 4 cylinder towing a 15ft Teardrop, no probs.
