Come stay in our beautiful safari tent and experience our flower farm and old-growth Maple Forest. Located in the heart of Olalla near the Colvos Passage waterway, just a short ferry ride from West Seattle, 20 minutes from Tacoma, and near the quaint town of Gig Harbor. **Just upgraded to two queen sized memory foam beds!! Lovely 100% cotton sheets and cozy blankets will keep you nice and comfy on those cool nights. Two extra twin sized cots are available in the "Extras" section of the listing. The cots fit in the tent with the beds too, so there is plenty of room for all four.** Our beautiful camping spot offers serene privacy and many comforts. You will feel very secluded on our 5 acre property. Our parcel is partially wooded and partially cleared for our flower farm. But it adjoins neighboring properties that have an additional 20+ acres that are totally wooded giving the feeling of being further away from civilization than you are. In addition to the safari tent there is another flat and wood-chipped pad for an additional tent for your buddies or children to have their own space. Enjoy an outdoor shower on the edge of the woods with on-demand hot water. You’ll also have your own custom made steel fire pit with fire wood available for purchase (or you can bring your own). We have an outdoor picnic table as well as a table inside the tent for late night card games. We may have the prettiest outhouse on Hipcamp! There's a lovely little bathroom with a composting toilet and a sink with running water. We allow up to 6 people (no pets) and request that parties respect the limit so that our composting toilet can keep up with the demand with minimal servicing while you are here (to maintain your privacy). Feel free to walk and enjoy the flower field on a self guided tour, but if you’d like more information about the flowers and how they are grown, or if you’d like to pick flowers, please contact us to set up a time for a guided tour and help picking. Please no U-pick without guidance. We’d like to make sure to point out that there is convenient and dedicated parking for campers but the camping spot is about 200 feet from the parking area and over uneven ground. A cart is provided for unpacking your vehicle. Because it is very dark here at night, we would request that campers arrive before dark to safely find their way and unload with adequate light. We have two very friendly dogs, a farm cats, so we are not allowing pets to come camp at this time. Legit service dogs are welcome though. Things to bring: cooking gear, flashlights/headlamps, food, drinking water, ice, cooler, battery operated stuff (no power provided), towels for shower. Things provided: Weather proof tent, two queen sized beds and bed linens, outdoor and indoor tables chairs, solar-powered lights, composting toilet, firepit, outdoor shower with hot water, parking for 2 cars. NOT provided: bedding or sleeping bags for additional cots, cookware, dishes, power of any kind, ice or food. Local Activities: Bring your kayaks and SUP boards to the Olalla boat launch for a paddle in the lagoon or walk along the beautiful beach. Come experience some great local pizza and beer at the Olalla Bay Market or wine at the Olalla Winery. There is lots to explore in downtown Gig Harbor, from restaurants, breweries, and distilleries to fly fishing or antique shops. There are also local trails, parks, and hikes that we can recommend if you are looking for a quick day adventure. Many local, public golf courses are nearby too.Come stay in our beautiful safari tent and experience our flower farm and old-growth Maple Forest. Olalla Flower Farm Glamping
Cozy, comfy, perfect family getaway
We had such a lovely time, even with less than ideal weather! The beds were very comfortable (probably the most comfortable beds we’ve had ant ANY accommodation) and sufficiently warm. The tent was super spacious and it was nice to have a little seating area inside where it was dry. Jodi was very willing to answer ALL of our questions so we felt sufficiently prepared. It is clear that this property is well loved and the hosts take pride in providing a comfortable and enjoyable stay for their guests.

Olalla Flower Farm Glamping
Perfect end to August
We loved staying at the flower farm, with all the lovely amenities that have been well described by other reviews. Jodi and Aaron were very responsive and helpful and made sure everything was working for us. The tent is pretty epic---such a luxury of space and comfort and certainly provided a glamping experience for three people who have spent decades wrestling with tents and then crawling into them for awkward, cramped overnights. We felt like princesses and slept remarkably well in the comfy beds being sung to sleep by distant coyotes and great horned owls. We spent the days on our SUPs at two fun local spots and spotted many creatures. There are many places to put in within a 15 minute drive! And if you need something, the two nearby stores are great for anything you need during your stay.

Lovely spot. Flowers were beautiful. Felt very safe. Loved the instant hot water shower. Beds were super comfortable. Not totally quiet—morning birds and neighbors were definitely up early. Hosts were friendly and responsive.

Cozy flower farm and kind hosts!
Beautiful property and wonderful hosts! Jodi and her hubby were so kind and accommodating. They even brought us and our wild kids firewood with a tractor upon request! They also gifted us a s’mores bundle and had the best outdoor shower and view ever. Jodi was super responsive to our annoying frequent messages and gave us tons of ideas and local resources for activities. Everything was super close, it was crazy. The beds were super comfy and Jodi left fresh flowers from her farm on the nightstand 🤗🙏

Olalla Flower Farm Glamping
What a relaxing stay we had at the flower farm. The hosts, Jodi and Aaron are amazing. Quick to respond and oh so helpful. This was a first time camping experience for our kids so the luxury of beds and cots, the adorable and spotless “bathroom”, running water for hand-washing and teeth brushing… all so helpful in camping without buying all the gear. We’ll be back!
