Ohh Ship Beach Camp is located on Puget Island in the middle of the Columbia River. When you book a stay here, you get TWO large RV parking spots, both with 30A power and a shared water hookup. Both spots are on level ground with gravel pads and plenty of room to pull in or back in your vehicles. Tent campers are welcome; however, there are no bathroom amenities at my site, so guests must be self-contained. You'll enjoy free Wi-Fi, a large picnic table, and a large fire pit with seating. When you purchase firewood, it will be in the firewood holder when you arrive. Contact me directly for rates for large groups (more than 10 people or two vehicles). Walk, run, or ride bikes on the flat roads on the Island. Swim, fish, boat, kayak, or jet ski on the Columbia River. The boat launch and septic dump are located a few miles away at the Cathlamet Marina (there are public restrooms there). The town of Cathlamet has many local spots to eat and drink, including River Mile 38 Brewing Company, Maria's Place (Mexican), The Spar (American), Patty Cakes (Coffee), The Cottage Bread and Breakfast, and many more. Absolutely loved our time here! Gorgeous views, birdwatching, boat watching, beach walking. Very nicely laid out and maintained area with flat parking and gravel. Lovely!

First off Gabe was an excellent communicator, never had to wait for an answer…. very prompt. While we didn’t get a chance to stay long, the night was very quiet and peaceful. electric hookup and water were well maintained and easy. we enjoyed a comfortable an easy night. Side note: the breakfast spot on south side of the road in cathlamet was great.

Ohh Ship Beach Camp

Great little site on Columbia River

We stayed here in our van for one night and absolutely loved it! This is a hidden gem on Puget Island situated on a quiet sandy shoreline on the Columbia River. There’s power, water, great WiFI, a nice picnic table and fire pit, and the cutest horses across the street. We highly recommend!

Ohh Ship Beach Camp

We had an amazing time at Ohh Ship Beach! The view is stunning and watching the many ships go by entertaining. Bring binoculars if you have them. We enjoyed riding our bikes around the island and going to the cute town of Cathlamet for coffee and snacks. It looks like there are some good restaurants which we plan to try when we come back. The people are supper friendly on the island and really lookout for each other. We stayed for three nights and wished we had longer. My favorite part of the trip was the campfire right on the sand. We spent many hours talking, playing games and roasting s’more’s. It is a very pet friendly atmosphere. Thank you Gabe for your fast responses and for sharing your beautiful space.
