STUART and ANITA is a Star Host
Star Hosts are highly rated, responsive, and committed to providing incredible experiences.
Secluded private site centrally located just a mile from Interstate 5, and 6 miles from the Interstate 5 / Hwy 205 intersection so most places in Clark County are less that 20 minutes away. Located 10 minutes from ilani Casino, 5 minutes from the Clark County Fairgrounds and amphitheater, and less than 30 minutes from some of the nicest freshwater lakes around. Hosts are avid Flyboarders, Jetskiers, Paraglider Pilots, and Stuart has been climbing since the late 1900's (1974 and up... back in the era where if it couldn't be nailed it couldn't be climbed). This is a secluded, Park Like property with walking trails all the way around it, and some interesting things for kids to spot, especially up Fairy Lane. Walking access is permitted, but you must keep pets on leash and keep an eye on your kids. In the dry season, typically May through the end of September, fires are not allowed, and plese USE EXTREME CAUTION IF YOU CHOOSE TO SMOKE ONSITE. If you are one of those who just tosses your butts in the underbrush, you will be asked to leave for the safety of our property and guests. There is no smoking allowed inside the cabin, bathroom, or anywhere near the sawmill, or any area North of it. There is an active sawmill onsite IES-Sawmill.com. People are welcome to visit, but equipment has the right of way and may not see you. Please avoid the log decks, and especially don't allow children to play on them, as logs can roll at any time. Some of the equipment is big, heavy, and doesn't have the greatest visibility if people walk up un-noticed. Always ensure that the operator sees you, and don't place yourself anywhere where a log that comes loose could run you down. Operating Equipment always has the right of way. There is a climbing wall on the North side of the machine shop. If you are an experienced climber with a partner to belay you can the appropriatte gear, you are welcome to use the wall, please let us know first. If the hosts have time, you may be able to convince them to give you a lesson. We are changing the anchors on our ziplines, so they are not available for use at this time. There is a public bathroom in the middle of the property beside the tree fort. It's well lit and open 24 hours a day. It has a flush toilet and a cold water sink and COLD water shower. The water comes out of the ground year round at about 60 degrees so it's a chilly shower. If you need a hot shower, renting the cabin is your best bet as it comes with a private bath that has a hot shower. We try to keep rules to a minimum, but people seem to find creative ways to cause issues. Please park outside the yellow gate in the parking areas noted on the map. Please park on gravel and DON'T DRIVE OFF THE GRAVEL ROADS ONTO THE GRASS. Anita hates it, as you can cause a fire in the summer, and leave muddy ruts in the wet seasons. If you're driving through the trees, you're doing something wrong. There is plenty of wildlife on the property especially in the couple hours before dark. Best place to spot deer, racoons, pocupines and beaver are down near the pond. Enjoy your stay. Stuart and Anita

Clean, well kept and spacious.
Beautiful camping space just off the highway. It is both clean. spacious and felt very safe. The highway noise was noticeable but not obnoxious. We did not use the provided facilities. It was a great stay and we would visit again.

Clean and comfortable.
Clean and close to Fairgrounds. Stuart and Anita were very accommodating. It is nice and quiet considering that the interstate is just a few minutes away.

Very quiet and peaceful place to park your camper. Easy back in spot along shop with a nice circle driveway. Easy to hook up to power. Water was available, but we didn’t need it. Did not meet the hosts, but also didn’t need to because there were no issues during our stay. The host was quick to respond and willing to help if needed. Definitely recommend this spot.

Things to know before booking
Overall had a good experience. There wasn't really a check in of any kind. The site is first come first serve which is great but we ended up getting in trouble for choosing the spot we did. We were told we drove over their spectic field and I found Anita to be a bit condescending about it. Again, there was no rules or signs telling us where to park, nor were there site numbers so it was hard to pin point what/where a site was. I enjoyed the freedom of it but I'd suggest for the owners to send a welcome msg to customers with some more details and information on where you can and cannot park. Shower was cold (no hot water) but I thought the facility was very clean! Nowhere to put garbage and no picnic tables so I'd bring a fold out table if you need.

This campsite fit the bill for what we were looking for: just off I5 in Ridgefield, came in late and left very early. There was road noise from the freeway which would have bothered us but we parked alongside a building that blocked most of it. Our pop up camper has fans so we used our own white noise, too. Bathroom was exceptionally nice.

We loved our stay in the tiny house, it was a perfect location for our day trip to Mt. St. Helens followed by a concert at the amphitheater, which took only minutes to get to. The house had everything we needed, the bed was very comfortable too.
