Welcome to your next tranquil getaway!
Nestled right along the North Fork of the Skykomish River near the town of Index, this cozy campsite is the perfect place to relax around a campfire and surround yourself with the serene nature of the Pacific Northwest.
Fall asleep to the gentle roar of the river with a belly full of freshly-roasted marshmallows. Spend the day hiking nearby trails, fishing in the river, exploring the quaint town of Index, climbing massive walls of rock, or simply cozying around the fire away from the stresses of modern life.
This property features a small tent site surrounded by massively majestic evergreen trees. There is also a gravel parking spot big enough for 2-3 cars or 1 car and a camper/van. A fire pit and 2 chairs are provided, as well as a porta-potty which is cleaned and sanitized weekly.
There is no water or electricity on the property, but it is < 1 mile to the town of Index.
Being along the river also means being along the train route that travels through Index. It rumbles by occasionally. The river drowns out most of the sound, but sensitive sleepers may want to consider bringing ear plugs :)
