Come and experience a nature safari on the Lewis River! Depending on what time of year you visit us, you are sure to see the pair of resident bald eagles soaring above their nest, sea lions diving for salmon or smelt, flocks of sandhill cranes and migrating geese - even the occasional squadron of pelicans! Take the kayaks up the river to scout for beaver dens and otters, or paddle down to the sandy beaches at the confluence with the Columbia River for a picnic or sundowners. Watch beautiful sunrises and sunsets, or stargaze on clear nights. If you enjoy wildlife and rivers, you are certain to have an adventure with us on the Lewis. There is space for up to a 45 foot Class A motorhome or trailer/truck combo of similar size on the graveled parking area. Newly installed drive-thru site parking. Depending on your RV main door configuration and preferences…the option to enter the site either from the East or from the West is available. Please note that the property is a work in progress and is in the process of being lovingly restored! Watch your step on the planks - some are uneven and can be slippery in wet weather. There are numerous kayaks, which are free to use. There is also a porta-loo for the public on site. Have a wonderful stay!Unobstructed views of river wildlife (Eagles, Otters, Muskrats, Beaver, Cliff Swallows, etc) along the Lewis River. Kayaking and fishing encouraged!

The docks might be hazardous for some, but we thought it was so much fun!! So awesome to go from the car to the kayak within a couple minutes. I wouldn’t recommend tent camping here as it is really set up for RV’s on gravel, which is what we had. We will come back some time!

We had wonderful time and Everett was very friendly and informative! We had a fantastic time kayaking and inner tubing. There is a little sandy area we hung out on and it was like our own little private beach. I would definitely come back!

Overall, we had a great experience!! This place is VERY cool IF you like boats, floating docks, various repairs going on, etc. We loved it, but we're river rats, boat rats, and water rats. if you're none of those, you will still find it private and picturesque but might not have the same experience. Everett is a great, laid back host. We will definitely camp here again.

Beautiful Camping Spot
We camped in our 22' Airstream and it was wonderful. Gorgeous environment, generous host, everything worked as advertised, and only 45 minutes from Portland. We'll definitely be coming back!

ITS A SCAM
This “campsite” is a scam lol it would have been great for someone with a camper/RV but should not be advertised as good for rent camping. You are directly next to a road with speeding cars and the gravel is so dense you can’t stake your tent, which is necessary since it is INCREDIBLY windy. The route to the kayaks is a potential death trap marketed as needing an “adventure spirit”. There were no directions about how to navigate the falling apart docks to get the kayaks. It took us 30 minutes of trying to find them and having to maneuver over broken dock sections, untethered moving docks, piles of garbage, and other strange/dangerous sections. It was just astonishing how misleading this description is and how much of a safety risk it was. I’m honestly shocked that the “host” feels okay with himself listing this site and the so called “amenities”.

I nice rest stop if on a long trip, or would like a place to stay if your planning on going into the water. Kayaking was perfect for the weather, and the site had everything that was needed
