NOW UNDER NEW MANAGEMENT!! :) Escape to nature without sacrificing comfort in our stunning glamping dome! Nestled in the heart of the North Cascades, this dome offers a private hot tub, outdoor kitchen with grill and fridge, a fire pit for stargazing, and WiFi for staying connected. Enjoy an outdoor bathroom and shower for a true glamping experience. With the Barr Creek trailhead just 1/4 mile away with a view of a waterfall, it’s the perfect spot for adventurers and relaxation seekers alike. Reconnect with nature in style! We are a short 11 minute drive to the North Cascades National Park! During the winter (typically end of November/early December through April/May) part of Highway 20 and driving access to the park is closed. You are still able to get to our dome using Highway 20 as that part is open all year round, but you are unable to access the park. You are able to drive to the entrance, park and snow shoe in if you'd like. The part of Highway 20 that is closed is on the west side at milepost 134 at the Ross Dam Trailhead and on the east side, at milepost 171 at the Silver Star Gate, near Mazama. An alternative hiking destination for the winter months is the Rockport State Park which is only a 4 minute drive from the dome. You are able to purchase a day pass on your phone once you arrive.THIS SITE INCLUDES: • A 400 square foot glamping dome with a queen-sized bed surrounded by the trees, just off Highway 20 • Hiking trails right from the cabin • Access to the creek just off the main road on the Skagit River NEARBY ATTRACTIONS: • 5 minute walk to the Barr Creek trailhead with a waterfall just 1/4 mile up the mountain • 5 min drive to Rockport State Park Evergreen trailhead • 11 min drive to North Cascades National Park • 25 min drive to Mt. Baker-Snoqualmie National Forest • 30 min drive to Sauk Mountain Trailhead, which is a 1 mile hike to the summit where you'll get the stunning view of the Cascades at the top • 40 min drive to Thunder Creek Trail near Diablo Lake • 45 min drive to Diablo Lake Vista Point for beautiful views of the emerald-green lake. • 50 min drive to Maple Pass Loop for panoramic mountain views and is especially beautiful in late summer and fall. • Marblemount is the next closest town, only a 10 minute drive away. Eldorado Glamping
Beautiful
Beautiful, conveniently located glamp. Super comfortable and cozy with almost everything you need. Bring an ax to make kindling for your fire (plenty of fire wood available) and some spices. The only other thing missing was a visit from the local dogs. Haha. Everything else was perfect!

Eldorado Glamping
A dome in the woods
Let’s start with the positives! The concept of this place is great. Jordan and her husband have put a lot of thought into making Eldorado a comfortable place to relax and restore. The bed is comfy, the dome has good ventilation and air circulation, and there are multiple seating groups outside for hanging out. The hot tub is a huge bonus. They’ve provided just about any amenity (cookware, grill, pit toilet, shower, other food prep appliances, WiFi on request, etc) that you could possibly need for glamping. On top of that, Jordan was very responsive and her husband was very kind - both very helpful. The only real downside for me falls in the category of how much nature I really wanted to experience. This is a not-fully-sealed dome in the woods, which meant that there were spiders, crickets, and some kind of centipede type thing in the dome. Some people may be fine with that, and some may not be - just something to be aware of. If there were any way to better seal the dome to keep the critters out, and any way to provide hot water at the shower, I would definitely stay here again.

Eldorado Glamping
This was a great spot for a get away for couples. Great amenities! Though I couldn’t get the wifi or water to work (probably user error, but didn’t see any directions). Hot tub and fire pit were perfect, dome was cozy, would recommend!

We loved staying at the dome. The hot tub was great, and the short hike to the waterfall was fun too.
