Welcome to Legacy Farm, a family-friendly getaway with a historic family barn. Our property is tucked off the highway, offering you a quiet and relaxing stay. You can park your rig in our large gravel roundabout, which can accommodate most sizes. (Please reach out to us before booking if you have any questions or special requests)
If you are looking for some adventure, you can explore our 15 acres of land, which include hay fields and river access. You can hike down to the water and enjoy fishing, canoeing, or swimming in the summer. You might also spot some wildlife along the way, such as deer, elk, or birds. We have horses on the property, but please do not feed them or disturb them.
Our location is ideal for hunters and fishermen, as we are close to many hunting areas and fishing spots. You can also visit the nearby attractions, such as Astoria OR, Long Beach, and Seaside, which are all within 40 minutes drive. There you can find museums, shops, restaurants, and more.
We are excited to share our beautiful farm with you and hope you have a memorable stay."Come back to this tranquil piece of forest heaven after a long day exploring, hunting, or fishing. This piece of property has been in my husband's family for over 100 years. My husband and I are avid campers, more recently we entered the Rv world after having a baby. It's a little more realistic with a baby, as opposed to backpacking. We have become obsessed with remote camping in our RV, the best of both worlds. We own some property, and we thought "why not make it a campsite?"The property has some neighbors, including a family RV park, and some other family members down the road ( We do have QUIET HOURS). But no one will actually be on the property with you, you may get some waves from friendly neighbors, driving by. We do have some people renting storage from us. From time to time, they come to check on their belongings.
Located 5 min off 101, park your RV on the gravel roundabout ( pull in, back in, or drive through) whatever works for you and your rig. The RV spot is gravel, and you will be surrounded by trees, and of course a big green barn. There is wildlife ( bears, elk, deer) A great place to park for a hunting trip or a fishing trip. There is room to also park a boat. The boat launch for the Naselle River is less than a mile away. Astoria OR is a quick 20 min drive. Long beach is 30 min drive, and Seaside is a 40min drive. Just far enough away so you can come back and unwind in nature. The local grocery store is just a 2 min drive down the street. If you bring pets please keep them on a leash, as there are other homeowners with pets nearby.
