Relaxing weekend
We had a great time with our Grandkids. Very relaxing.
The restrooms/shower rooms were clean and nice to have access to. Lots of fun beach toys available to use. We will definitely be back.

WORTH THE DRIVE!
We chose this little gem so that we could use our fairly new paddle boards on a lake. What a fortunate find for us! From the beautiful scenery to the immaculate bathrooms, this place worth every penny and every drop of gas lol. And it’s super reasonably priced! If we lived closer, we would be there at least once a month. As it is, we’re already planning our getaway for next summer.

Our New Favorite Place
Perfect spot for our RV. Clean and very well kept. We did plenty of swimming, kayaking and fishing. Beautiful views. Quiet and peaceful, but not so quiet that one would feel uncomfortable having some music and fun. Camp owners and their doggies were so nice. See you Labor day weekend!!

Nice
We had a very laid back week there. We were right on the water, which was nice. I appreciate how the host makes a pedal boat, kayaks, and selection of inflatables for campers to use
During our stay, we drove to other nearby lakes and took some nice walks . We even caught some salmon from our own inflatable boat.
It should also be mentioned that the bathroom/shower facilities are very nice.

Lots of Potential
This was one of the last lakeside spots available last minute over the 4th of July weekend. A couple of things can be easily improved and make this a great spot for all of their campers. I’m willing to go back and see the improvements they make over time.
1) The bees. Omg. So many bees. From about 8am - 5pm you’ll be dealing with all kinds of wasps and hornets. That being said. There isn’t a WHOLE LOT they can do about it. Possibly placing a ton of traps around the perimeter might help.
2) The field spots are just that. A field. I was under the impression that each spot, field or not had a fire pit, but ours did not. During our booking we added 3 nights of firewood, but never received any. Thankfully, we had a propane stove with us to cook on, and it was so hot I doubt we would have lit a fire the entire time.
3) The sun. If you are in one of the field spots, be prepared to bring a ton of shade items with you. The sun here is intense and there aren’t a lot of places to escape to. A tree or two in the middle of the field area would drastically change this and make it a lot better.
4) Need site markers/signs. This is a must for reservations.
PROS:
1) The bathrooms: super nice, super clean, good water.
2) Not a lot of mosquitos. Nights were amazingly mosquito free.
3) Management is really nice. Good people. Definitely worth supporting.
4) Private lake access, small grounds, quiet, and uncrowded. I love places like this and this is why I HipCamp.
