I could sit there all day!
The property was nicely done and the location is good for activities any which way. I loved watching the boats all day!! The amenities, especially the Wi-Fi, were nice to have for the area. I was kinda sad to go.

Good location and great hosts! Lot#1 is just enough away from the other lots to feel more private. Deon and Kevin’s land is perched above the marina and easy walking distance to the diner and little store near the boat launch.
We had the most epic sunrise the first morning as we watched the boats shoot off into the bright orange sunlight heading out to catch Salmon.
Deon and Kevin were great communicators and had everything ready to receive us. They both are down to earth and kind.
We now know where to stay if we pass through again.

Exceptional View, Exceptional Hosts
This lovely property is meticulously maintained with an EPIC view. The pictures really don't do it justice. You will see several Bald Eagles -- I saw at least one every day, usually multiple! The amenities are high quality (water pressure was great and there are extra power outlets, along with a picnic table). Above all, the hosts are top notch. I have been on the road full time for a while now, and Deon and her husband are some of the best I have ever experienced! They offered excellent activity/restaurant recommendations, must-do hikes in Olympic, and services advice -- extremely accommodating, responsive, and all-around cool people. Sekiu is quaint, quiet, and safe, and has convenient access to services and a good restaurant. The location also is excellent for easy access to the coast, straight, Cape Flattery, and (of course) Olympic National Park. My only watch out (and I think they are clarifying this in the check in directions) is that you have to park in the road to hop out and unlock the gate if you are traveling solo. I was nervous about this upon arriving, but there's not much traffic and everyone I met in town was nice. If you are traveling with a partner nbd, just have them hop out and open the gate while you do an easy lap down the hill, right at the stop sign, and back around where you came in according to the directions. Fantastic private place to stay. 10/10 will be back next Summer.

The First Hipcamp
The site could not have been better. Nice and quiet. The view was worth a million dollars. It was like looking up on the hill side and thinking “I bet they have a wonderful view “. You could see Vancouver Island off in the distance and cruise ships and others in the shipping lanes. Cool highs of 59 to 72 in July. We will return!

The site had a lovely view and was convenient to all local attractions.
All the eagles nearby were spectacular.
Deon was an organized, helpful, and accommodating host.
