Creekside camp on Bacon Creek on the border of the North Cascades National Park. At the base of some popular hikes, great fishing, hunting, and access to the park.
Currently just a primitive site with gated access. We are working on providing an outhouse, potable water, and fire pit soon. Eventually will have a tiny house.UPDATE (8/27/2024):
Current road conditions have gotten worse with heavy rains. Please only book if you have 4wd and are confident in off road conditions, prepared to self retrieve a stuck vehicle, or arrange for towing if necessary. There is no cell service at the camp, cell service is 3/4 of mile down the road near HWY 20. Currently we recommend only camping by the gate and walking to the river. We cannot be responsible for towing costs and while we have been giving refunds to those who have gotten stuck we cannot continue to be liable for those who don’t know the limitations of their’ vehicles.
Lastly, this is a sensitive ecosystem: PLEASE CLEAN UP YOUR TRASH AND PACK A TOILET!

This is a primitive site that has gated access off of National Forest Road 1060 (Bacon Creek). Private access to Bacon Creek. Excellent fishing, hunting, kayaking, hiking, and access to nearby sites like North Cascades National Park, Newhalem, Lake Diablo, Ross Lake etc
The road up is rough but doable in most vehicles. There is no turn around at the campsite except for smaller cars or hatchbacks currently. Back down or back up the hill. Pack it in pack it out. We are constantly working to improve the site and add amenities stay tuned!
