This property has both forest and field with views of sunrise and sunsets. We are minutes to both the Washougal and Columbia River. Come stay up in old growth trees with a custom tree house, with rustic outside shower and bathroom. There is a queen bed and a futon. Sleeps 3. Bring your fishing boat as well to enjoy both rivers for fishing. Stay under the stars and feel like you're far away from the city although close to town and local breweries and places to eat. You may encounter the properties horse to say hello while you visit and get some fresh eggs and garden veggies in summer.The treehouse site is on the back of our property. You will go through the front gate and drive into the back near the trees by the barn. The room has a queen bed that sleeps 2 with a couch conversion that could sleep smaller children. Space best suited for 2 adults and a smaller individual. It comes with coffee, small refrigerator, and bottled water and fresh baked goods. There is no kitchen or sink in the treehouse but we have made a place to wash hands and access water. Hot water can be found in the shower space below.

Treehouse Calm Soliloquy

Pulling up onto the grounds of Beth and her family’s lovely farm, it’s immediately calm inducing. The treehouse sits behind and at the back of the property next to the attention needy Zee who is not hard to approach or ignore as she is the sweetest Arab. With a pit toilet and ready access to an outdoor shower, Beth makes sure you have everything you need and checks in to ensure your stay is all you need it to be. The simplicity of the Treehouse is perfect for those quiet moments to enjoy the solitude of country and if you’re lucky as we were, to sit underneath in the hammock and gently swing to the sounds of the rain as you watch it from under the canopy. This retreat will be one we revisit again when we’re in the area and highly recommend it to all who enjoy a simple and rustic stay. Beth was an amazing host who was a joy to talk to and get recommendations from. You won’t regret staying here.
