Beautiful riverfront camping located in Puget Island Washington. Enjoy a private campsite on over 400 ft of riverfront access. Across the river from Bradley State Park and a historic bluff. Bring all of your fishing gear, it is known for the best sturgeon fishing (which is catch and release all year round) Free Washington Fishing APP FishWA at the app store on your phone. Enjoy biking around the island and kayaking on the Columbia River and in the sloughs. Boat launch is located just around the corner! Ferry access to Oregon is just a few miles away. 40 river miles from the Coast. Enjoy the quaint town of Cathlamet, 3 miles away with breweries, restaurants, shops, grocery store and the marina. RV parking with power (30 amp hookup) on the road. We require when tent camping that the tents are pitched where the rv parking is, due to rising waters with the tide. We will not be responsible for any refund of stay or damaged property if tents are pitched anywhere other than roadside pullout. Disclaimer: This is a shipping channel and tides vary day to day, hour to hour, so make sure you do your due diligence and check tide tables.Bring your RV and watch the ever changing wildlife and weather. Lots of seals, eagles, hawks, falcons and sturgeon and salmon jumping in the river all day. Enjoy the quiet and private land next to the campfire for a peaceful way to unwind! Endless island road to cruise around on bikes and see the beautiful scenery.

Love this site. Right by the river with a beautiful view. We saw a seal in the river and the kids loved it. This is definitely one of our favorite spots. It can get rather humid and cold at night in late August being next to the river so prepare for that.

Quiet Oasis
Very quiet oasis. Stayed a couple days, just me and my wife. Quiet part of the island, so very few cars drive by. Great scenery and peaceful.

cute little spot!
Nice little spot! The river was gorgeous and we felt like we had a lot of space to stretch out. The fire pit with the cooking grate ended up working great and we had some delicious meals. We'll be back!

This little pocket of lovely was the perfect PNW getaway. I saw cool big boats, took walks around this beautiful island, learned more about tides and how they can surprise you. Nikki keeps this area clean and the grass trimmed. There's wood and though it's off the road, there wasn't very much traffic driving by. Slow river living ❤️ I booked a second night so I could stay longer

11/10 spot!!
Beautiful area!!! We loved the space and how we were right next to the Columbia! It was fun watching all the big boats and tide changes throughout the day! Very spacious and the fire pit really made us feel like we were at the beach! 11/10 would recommend!

We enjoyed this private Columbia River side campsite. We have a camper van, so the setup (for us) was easy. We popped into town (Cathlamet) for dinner and a beer and walked about. It's a fun town, with a bit of a port and amiable people. We drove around Puget Island, which was very interesting. In the evening, we saw several American River Cruise vessels come by, including a paddle-wheel boat, which was fun. There was a bit of a tide or wave response to big boats, and our chairs got wet, which was funny. There are no restrooms, so one has to plan one's needs accordingly. The ferry going to OR (where we were going) is adorable leaving on the hour and only $6. We would stay here again.
