Learn more about this land: Just off icicle creek road and 8 minutes from Leavenworth, Camp Koda is a great spot in the shade to enjoy the mountains. You can chill out in the forest, swim at the river, go see town or quickly access any activities in the icicle creek valley. The property is easy facing keeping it cool in the summer and has year round access. There are neighbors adjacent to my location and the property backs up to national forest, so plenty of space to roam.

Camp Koda on Icicle Creek
My family and I loved staying here! It’s tucked away but still a short drive into Leavenworth. It’s within a wooded residential-y area and the neighbors are close, but we still felt like there was a good amount of privacy. The shower would be great in the middle of summer when the very cold water would feel refreshing, but since it’s May and still warming up, we skipped full on showers. Having the water and electric hookups were a huge bonus. It looks like there’s been plumbing roughed in for a future home, so I was a little overly concerned about our kids playing with it, but they did mind pretty well. The outhouse is an uphill walk through pine trees and wildflowers. We weren’t sure where it was at first, so I sent a message to Keith and he responded very quickly… and then I felt silly because there were pink trail markers leading up to it. I really liked how level the lot was. It also has a GREAT fire pit and picnic table. I also really appreciated that we could use the firewood. My kids loved it and were sad to leave. We will definitely try to return!

Not worth the money
We paid for three nights and left after the first. Keith was very communicative and the water and electrical utilities were high quality but the site was less than private as the fence that separated the camping area from the house below it was only half finished. There was a bag of a previous occupants trash in the outhouse as well. The approach is literally a hard left turn. We have a small tent trailer and it would be difficult for something larger to get into the site. If you are just passing through and need a place to park and crash this would be a good option but otherwise it isn't worth the money. As I stated, we left early after the first morning and went and stayed at Ida Creek further up the icicle....The pictures don't really tell the whole story

Camp Koda on Icicle Creek
Hillside Camping with amenities.
Nice little spot up the hill off icicle creek road. The spot has power, water, an outhouse up the hill, and an (cold) outdoor shower. The neighbors are pretty close, so if you are the type to be up late making noise, consider that before attempting to book. Otherwise, it’s close to town and private enough. I’d go back!

Safe and private location. There is only 1 camping spot. A bit difficult to find after dark. Turn left after the blue ski propped up on a tree. The outhouse is there, keep going up the hill (switching to a plastic seat would be appreciated). Close to downtown and Blewett Pass; we had an awesome snow hike. The entire site is sand and on a septic field. The septic was not powered. Picnic table and fire pit were great.

Great spot just out of town. Private enough, clean, easy access, well equipped with water, shower, toilet, fire pit, picnic table. We had a great time. We definitely plan on trying this site again next year when we come back.
