Just a couple of acres, tucked into the woods, with two other yurts, at different elevations for privacy. Firepits, hammocks, propane firepit and furniture on the lower deck, a hot tub on the upper deck. A huge soaking tub and tiled walk in shower in the bath.Heated and air conditioned with a minisplit and a propane fireplace. This yurt has a washer and dryer, a great coffee selection, full kitchen with a motion sensor faucet. Star gazer paradise, and nearby hiking including Devels Den (3 miles away), Cumberland Knob, Buffalo Mountain, New River Trail. Several wineries nearby including Iron Heart, Chateau Morrisette and Villa Appalachia. This yurt is pet friendly with a gated deck. The pet fee is an additional $25. I provide directions to this yurt, once you reach Fancy Gap, so you are on the easiest route. This yurt is at a high elevation and requires steps from the lower parking. Four wheel drive is best in snowy weather. pet friendly, with a fee of $25. per stay.Enjoy being high among the treetops, in this elevated yurt. The hot tub is sitting among the treetops and a propane firepit is on the lower deck. Enjoy sitting in the soaking tub inside or stargazing from the hottub, lots of hiking, mountain biking, ziplining ,wineires, breweries and more.

Everything expected and more!!
Now that I’m retired I have the opportunity to have new local travel experiences.. I love camping and decided I wanted to try Yurt camping. It was everything I expected and more! My sister came along with me on this trip and she doesn’t do camping but was so impressed with the Yurt that she wants to rent all 3 yurts for her family to come try. . Our host, Jodee was so kind and attentive to our every need and questions. The yurt is nestled in the woods but yet has a beautiful views! The hot tub was my favorite! My suggestion, come try Windsong Yurt!!

The yurt was amazing! All of the amenities you would need while staying there. A beautiful soaking tub and a two person hot tub. There is even an outdoor propane fire pit and separate wood fire pit.

Yurt girls trip
We had an amazing girls trip staying at the Fancy Gap Yurt. Even though it stormed we visited a few wineries, relaxed in front of the fireplace and took a dip in the hot tub. Host was very responsive and had great directions and amenities.

REMARKABLE!!! AMAZING!!!!
The pictures really don’t do this place justice. I’ve been to yurts, domes, cabins, treehouses, etc. I was amazed at how pristine everything was. The very fact that there were absolutely NO SPIDERS or BUGS inside was remarkable. They have everything you could possibly need including bug spray, detergent, cleaning spray, cooking supplies, electric candles, etc. They even have bowls and a dog bed with a clean sheet for your dog!!!! Did I mention no spiders inside? The hot tub was clean, everything was absolutely perfect. The host was just as amazing as the accommodations messaging me just to make sure I was able to find the place okay and made sure I knew I could reach out to them if I needed anything at all. I literally wish I could live the rest of life in there lol.

Treetop Enchantment
This place was absolutely enchanting. Host was more than kind and easy to get ahold of. Gorgeous set up. Every amenity i could think of and then some. Such a wonderful experience. Will definitely book here again for a peaceful or romantic getaway. Utter perfection.

Fantastic yurt
A perfect place for a getaway. Loved that we could cook a nice meal, drink some fresh ground coffee, have a soak in the hot tub, and then chill in front of the smart tv. It was just isolated enough to give us all the privacy we wanted.
