A Cute Quiet Spot
A very remote spot. We did get in later than we anticipated, but it was still dusk so we could see. The remoteness of the area made it so we did not have cell phone coverage, so I'm glad that I looked on Google maps "Street view" to recognize where the turn was to get to the right road ahead of the trip. The trailer was comfortable for a night's rest. Laura had it stocked with many helpful things, snacks, pots & pans, nice scented candle, very comfy bed with fluffy pillows and blankets. We opted for firewood, but it was very very wet so it didn't catch (not the host's fault). We were thankful for the small but in house shower in the bathroom after hours on the road. We had one issue with the air conditioner, as it seemed too cold, when we turned it warmer the condensation came down like a shower. We used our beach towel to dry that up and just opted to keep the A/C cold & opened the vents that were closed so that didn't happen again. Thank you for a cute little trailer out in the country! It's very advisable to really study the maps and bring a paper map as GPS wouldn't turn of with no coverage!!!!

Laura the host and her husband were incredible hosts! They had it all setup for us when we arrived with towels, snacks, coffee pot and even some basic foods. They setup a bonfire for us on their land and we invited some friends over for it. The Rpod itself is much roomier than the pictures give it credit for except the bathroom it is pretty tiny but still manageable. Laura came almost immediately when we needed the tanks to be emptied/refilled. The driveway up is gravel but we did it in a Mitsubishi mirage with no problems. They have solar powered garden lights to light the path from the parking to the Rpod that make it super cute and homey! They provided a decent amount of firewood for what I paid and even offered farm tours we didn’t partake but did get to see the ponies and horses which was very nice. We are planning on staying again and look forward to it!

Pony pasture
3 girls and 2 ponies
Had an amazing stay at Laura and Wayne place. Wayne met me and took me to the Pony Pasture. I followed him because I had a 4 wheel drive. Once at the site got a tour! They have a composting toilet and string lights set up in the 3 sided shed. Introduced to George and Annie the ponies! They also had a fire ring with wood. It rained Friday night and the 3 of us were grateful for the shed to hang out under and stay dry. Laura also came up to feed the ponies 2x a day and made sure we didn't need anything. Highly recommend. Will visit again definitely. We hiked Devils Bathtub and The Channels. Of note make sure you read how to get there. No fault of the host....I just plugged the address link into my phone GPS well I ended up coming in the last few miles on a seriously crazy gravel road! Had I actually read the directions the host provided I would of taken their route and avoided the gravel road.
