Warren Ferry Landing - Cabin & Tent
Great, but needs improvements.
This property is great, but needs some improvements. First, while the view of the river was amazing, it is difficult to access. The two main access points require traversing steep overgrown muddy trails and the third requires jumping a fence so you can get to the old Warren Ferry landing. Second, the stairs going up to the cabin are slippery and rotting in places, so much so that a few folks in our group slipped coming down them. Third, the cabin overall is in okay shape (think basic hunting cabin) but many of the screens were busted, which required us to close the doors/windows to keep bugs out, which made it a good bit warmer inside. Finally, the outhouse is as expected, but needs to be relocated. Because of where it's located, the smell wafts directly down to the main fire pit. Other than that, this is a great property with lots of space, and great views of the James River!

Warren Ferry Landing - Cabin & Tent
We booked the cabin and tent sites together and it's was perfect. The river view was beautiful and the fishing was great. The site was secluded and private which we loved. We will definitely be booking again.

Warren Ferry Landing - Cabin & Tent
Great place! Make some memories.
A buddy and I camped here with our each of our 15 year old sons and four more of their friends for a two night stay. It was great! Private, great location to float down to Scottsville for a day trip. Camping amenities galore. Picnic tables, fire pit, deck, chairs, outhouse, etc. really nice rustic cabin too. Mind the nettles in the summer, no big deal if you avoid it.

Warren Ferry Landing - Cabin & Tent
We booked both the cabin and tent site for a weekend in July. Sites were nice, as described. Plenty of flat ground for tents. Cabin is very rustic, so don't expect something fancy. River is accessible, though beware the bank is very steep and muddy. During the day on Saturday, the local outfitter was launching tubers and boaters across the river. It got pretty crowded and noisy on the water. On Friday and Saturday night, there were people partying and swimming across the river late into the night. So FYI, don't expect silence and solitude on a weekend. Overall, it was a nice site and we had a good time despite the noisy neighbors. Great spot for a big group with kids and dogs, especially if you don't mind some noise and sharing the river.
