UPDATE: We have carved out two river access points, one at each site, making it easier to enter the Robinson. Until grass grows in, this incline may be muddy if it rains, proceed with caution. Experience the Tranquil Beauty of Two Rivers in Madison, VA Welcome to Two Rivers, a picturesque haven nestled in the heart of Madison, Virginia. Our property offers a unique and immersive camping experience that combines the charm of the great outdoors with modern comforts. Here, you'll discover the perfect getaway for nature enthusiasts and outdoor adventurers. Camping Sites with Deck Structures and Roofs: At Two Rivers, we provide two carefully designed camping sites, each featuring deck structures with roofs. (Camping essentials such as tents, sleeping pads...etc. are not provided) There is plenty of room to camp traditionally on the ground if desired. These sites offer a blend of comfort and ruggedness, allowing you to enjoy the beauty of the outdoors without sacrificing the convenience of shelter. What's more, these structures are equipped with solar lights, ensuring your evenings are well-lit and cozy. You'll also find hooks for hammocks, inviting you to relax and sway with the gentle breezes, suspended amidst the natural beauty that surrounds you. We do not allow parties or additional guests on site under any circumstance. You will be asked to leave the property immediately and will be charged an additional fine. Fire Pit and On-Site Firewood: Gather around the crackling fire and share stories with friends and family at our well-appointed fire pit. We provide on-site firewood for purchase, ensuring that you can enjoy the warmth and ambiance of a campfire throughout your stay. It's the perfect way to unwind after a day of exploring the natural wonders of Two Rivers. On-Site Airbnb: For those looking for a more luxurious stay, we offer an on-site Airbnb accommodation that remains in high demand. This cozy retreat is consistently booked, providing an opportunity to share the Two Rivers experience with fellow travelers. Robinson River and White Oak Run: Two Rivers takes its name from the two exquisite waterways that define our landscape. The Robinson River flows gracefully through the property, and it connects to the White Oak Run. The confluence of these two rivers creates a serene and enchanting atmosphere that you can explore and enjoy. Site 1 offers an easier river access point than Site 2, as the bank gets steep. All campers are welcome to use either access point. In the state of Virginia, a fishing license is required on all rivers. We recommend walking up stream or down stream if you plan to fish, as the water is often only 2-3' deep near the camp sites. Abundance of Wildlife: Nature enthusiasts will be delighted to discover the diverse and abundant wildlife that calls Two Rivers home. Birdwatching, nature photography, and simply observing the local fauna are all favorite pastimes here. Please note that hunting is not allowed on the property by guests, ensuring a safe and protected environment for the animals that grace us with their presence. **Kayak season is in the spring - the water depth average should at least be 2.75’ before attempting a trip. Otherwise you will drag. During summer droughts, the river will be shallow near the camp sites. Kari’s Hipcamp was the perfect and great hideaway getaway. The weather was perfect and the stars were so bright. Covered firewood allowed us to enjoy a nice dinner on the fire and also to warm up since this August weather was unseasonably cool. Deer and feathered friends were the entertainment while we unlocked from social media. The trickling river was so nice to fall asleep to! Will visit again sometime soon!

My husband and his friend had a great time camping here! My husband is many years out of camping practice, but the site set up makes everything easy. Practically everything they could have needed was readily available. Particular highlights include the firewood, portapotty, and tent stand (for easy hammock install and tent set up!)

Great Weekend Trip
11/10 - Kari’s spot is awesome. Directions were easy + communication. Less than 1.5 miles to gas station / 7-11. Firewood on site - venmo/cash. Site 2 was perfect and made for a great place to camp, fish and relax. Fire pit is nice with a solid grate to cook and the covered tent platform is very nice, includes hammock hooks also. Just a football field length+ from car parking, portapotty and Site 1. Enough privacy and distance from Site 1, but not total privacy. Saw an incredible amount of stars and deer. I would absolutely bring the less adventurous here and look forward to returning in any season.

Two Rivers Site #2
We stayed at site two which felt more private then then site one. Site one is right by the porta potty so anyone staying in site two has to keep passing by site one when using the porta potty or leaving the property. It’s a bit far from site two especially if you need to use it at night. The ground was dry so we were able to drive down to our site. Unloading in the parking lot and hulling gear down to the site would have been a lot of work. The shelter on site was charming and a very nice touch, the fire pit with grill grate and having fire wood on site was also really nice. There was tons of room for the dog to run around. Cedar run and white oak falls are really close drive. We just wished the river was more then ankle to shin deep infront of the campsites. The afternoon was pretty hot after hiking and it would have been perfect if we could of floated around to cool off but just not deep enough for a float or swim.
