RV Site 1
Unique, Sweet, and Serene!
I rarely use the word, "unique," but in this case I can say that Thunder Bridge is a beautiful and unique space and so serene. We found the story behind Thunder Bridge very interesting, and the artists and their studios make the place even more special. Adam met us and took us to our space, and explained everything in detail. We met his parents, James and Karen, who were fun to talk to and to visit their studios and see their beautiful artwork. Dave and I met a few of their friends and other artists as well. We enjoyed walking the property with our dog, Kate, and hanging out at our site. The night sky there is great, and we had a bonfire both nights. We would recommend Thunder Bridge for couples with pets, families with children, and folks looking for a fabulous off the beaten path experience. If you are looking for something to do near this camping site, you can also visit Natural Bridge. We enjoyed our surroundings at Thunder Bridge so much that we didn't leave the property until check out. We travel often with our teardrop camper and have been across the country and back several times visiting national parks and historic sites. We feel lucky to have found Thunder Bridge and will definitely return. We hope to meet our son there in the near future. He will enjoy the tent camping sites at TB, and we hope to be at site #1 again. Thank you Adam, James, and Karen for preserving this sweet place and making it available to campers.

Site 4 (aka Woodpecker 3)
Our group had a great time at Adam's place. Our site was close to the bath house, which was clean, well-stocked, and met our needs. The site was spacious enough for 5 small tents, and 4 vehicles. Trees were absolutely beautiful this time of year.

Great car camping experience
What a wonderful experience! The campsite was exactly as described. Everything well maintained. The bathhouse and pavilion are convenient and charming. Really beautiful site and lots of easy paths to walk, including with pups. Highly recommend and we will be returning :-)

Great camping experience
Fantastic experience camping. Adam’s directions and map were great, the sites are level and spacious as well as close to great hiking, and the bathhouse and porta potties are very clean. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and kids are already asking to go back.

RV Site 1
Good stopover location.
Good place to stay for 2 nitesduring our travels. Reasonably priced. Adam made checking easy. Site 1 was level, easy pull thru & good w&e hookups for our 30' tt. Large open grassy field to see stars at night. There was an open local artists exhibit in the bldgs while there so we checked out some of the art. The public rd can be busy at times but nothing too extreme. Dump station easily accessible with a good setup.

4th visit and not our last
Thunder Bridge has become a real favorite mountain getaway for us. Big spacious RV sites, beautiful surroundings and most of all…quiet.
