Best for self-contained campers. There are no toilets, showers, or potable water at this Hipcamp.

These campsites are on the bank of The Little River in gorgeous Floyd County Virginia. Bring your kayak or canoe or rent from the local boating company, On The Water which is just 3 miles down the road. They offer shuttle service from their various take out points too. The night sky is brilliant by the river because there is no ambient light to reduce visibility. The quaint Town of Floyd is just 7 miles away. The new Floyd Fest site is 20 miles away. Come enjoy the river and the beauty of nature and still be close enough to enjoy the great music and food Floyd County has to offer.

The site location was nice. The distance off the paved road in an RV was difficult. Narrow road and numerous branches scratching the sides and top of the RV.

It was beautiful and right on the water. The fire pit was great and it was a perfect place to set up to camp!

This was a wonderful remote spot that I still felt entirely comfortable in solo with my two kids. Beautiful flat spot for a tent and endless Little River and Sowers Mill Dam fun. Would definitely go again!!!

Really nice spot. Great fishing off the Dam. Caught Catfish, trout, and a nice bass. Actually extended our stay for 2 additional days.

I loved camping at rivers edge! The land was perfect and peaceful. My dog loved the river and the sound of the rushing water lulled us both to sleep. I would definitely love to come back!
