The Retreat at Mayberry Creek is 4.5 acres and the site is perched on a rock bluff overlooking Mayberry Creek in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia.  We have been traveling the country full time for almost 4 years and were in need of a homebase. The Retreat had everything we needed, minus the house. Over the past few years, The Retreat has been a peaceful, relaxing sanctuary for us, no matter the season. We wanted to share The Retreat with other outdoor enthusiasts, because it’s just that magical. Onsite we have hiking/mountain biking trails, multiple fire pits, and a deck overlooking Mayberry Creek which runs through the center of the property.  You can enjoy splashing around and exploring the creek or just relax and listen to the water cascade down the rocks. Located just off the Blue Ridge Parkway, you will only be a short drive to Rocky Knob Recreation Area for sightseeing/hiking, Chateau Morrisette Winery and Restaurant, and Mount Airy for a trip back in history.  Everything you need for the perfect secluded getaway.Onsite we have hiking/mountain biking trails, multiple fire pits, and a deck overlooking Mayberry Creek which runs through the center of the property. You can enjoy splashing around and exploring the creek or just relax and listen to the water cascade down the rocks. Located just off the Blue Ridge Parkway, you will only be a short drive to Rocky Knob Recreation Area for sightseeing/hiking, Chateau Morrisette Winery and Restaurant, and Floyd, VA, known as a regional destination for music! Everything you need for the perfect secluded getaway.

Another great stay at the Retreat!
This is the second time we camped at the Retreat at Mayberry Creek. In spite of the rain we enjoyed the peaceful setting. The leaves were just beginning to change color. A very well-maintained site. Sarrah is an excellent host and communicator. She responded almost immediately to any questions we asked through Hipcamp. We highly recommend this site. Douglas & Michele

The Retreat on Mayberry Creek
This was our second trip to Sarrah's campsite. It rained for 3 days of time there. But even in the rain it was spectacular! The large cover over the camper was perfect for keeping us dry and giving us the opportunity to be outside even when it was raining. We highly recommend Sarrah's campsite and look forward to our next time there!

Wonderful getaway
Very nice and private. My husband and I mostly relaxed but did take a nice walk all the way down in the creek exploring. Loved it!! Would be great for get togethers!

Great campsite!
I can’t share anything more positive than what everyone else has already shared. The site is wonderful, it’s a great setup. Hope to be able to stay here numerous more times!
