50 acres of land with 1/2 mile of beautiful river frontage on the Rappahannock. Pick your spot anywhere on the property. Bring your fishin poles, kayaks, tubes, etc. Peace and quiet and mother nature.... This is raw land with no electricity, no water, no hookups. There are bathrooms and showers provided 1 mile away at the neighboring campground(free to use).This is 50 acres of dispersed camping. About 25 acres of nice flat land along the Rappahannock River. Mostly open field with trees along the river for shade. Fantastic fishing opportunities. The other 25 acres is also mostly clear pasture. It is higher up. Good area if you're looking for solitude when the lower area is busy. Outhouses and warm showers are available about 1 mile away(you can walk or drive). There are currently no picnic tables or firepits available. Please keep your fires small, manageable, and attended at all times. Canoe, Kayak, and Tube trips are available. See office for details.

Please practice safe burning practices. Use existing fire rings or one of the portable fire rings provided. You can collect wood from the forest that is on the ground but DO NOT CHOP DOWN ANY STANDING TREES. Wood is also available for sale at the neighboring campground.

Pets allowed

On leash. Please keep your pets leashed for both their safety and the safety of other campers and their pets.

No toilet; campers must bring camp toilets

Bathrooms(pit privies and porta potties) are available at the neighboring campground 1 mile away.

No drinking water

Bring your own water, purify from river or stream. Potable water is available at the neighboring campground 1 mile away

No showers

Bathe in river or stream. Hot showers are available at the neighboring campground 1 mile away.

Pack it out

A dumpster is available at the neighboring campground 1 mile away.
