This was a nice and quiet spot, no traffic noise from the road and a nice lake to watch the ducks at sun set. The family was very kind and welcoming and I will definitely come back next time I’m in the Charlottesville area. Also the ground it’s self is nice and flat so very little is needed to level the camper and plenty of space.

Kicking back in Charlottesville
My first Hipcamp experience and it couldn’t have gone better!! I spent two nights on the property Ben and Sarah are wonderful hosts and the site did not disappoint. You can expect to receive a warm welcome by Ben and the happiest little boy this side of the Mississippi!! The site is very secluded and quiet leaving nothing but the wind through the trees and forest creatures to help you sleep. I use a rrt on my Jeep and was able to park without the need to level. Ben let me ride my mountain bike a bit around the property. No fishing this time but there are several spots you can setup and fish the day away! The property is so close to Charlottesville that the second day I decided to Uber to Monticello for a trail run and tour of TJs house. If your like me and actively try to avoid hotels then this is the spot. Thanks!!
