First time Hipcamper here!
I would 100% recommend Mapleview to! This was my first time using the app & I couldn’t have asked for a better host! Matthew & family were quick to answer emails/ questions & did so extremely friendly and graciously . I ran out of propane for my gas stove & was going to head to a store about 30 minutes away. Matthew asked us where we were off to & said he had a propane tank he could give us!💓He is extremely nice! The property is beautiful and sits on 10 acres. There is lots of space! We stayed at site closest to the cornfields. The fire pit is awesome! It can easily sit 10 people & there is a smaller area within the pit to cook your food with A grate that swings in and out.Keep in mind you are still in a residential area so you will hear car, alarms, airplanes, etc. 1 thing to note, there have been coyote sightings in the area, & there are several foxes nearby. I did some walking around on Saturday and counted at least 3 dens. Friday PM we heard some howling in the distance and then on Saturday PM we heard a lot more cow & donkey activity. Donkeys can be-used as an alarm system to deter coyotes. Saturday PM we started hearing Fox screams. If you’ve never heard it- it’s “ terrifying,- google it. At 1 point, the sounds became so close (40 ft) that we started to feel uneasy-So that night, the dog & I slept in the jeep. Later at home, I saw fox prints on my soft pack camper that sits on the car. Something was walking around it. be aware&use good food safe practice.

Matthew was a great host. He was there to give us a lay of the land and was very communicative over text. We would definitely stay here again!

Such a great spot! A little drive back from Matthew's house and suddenly it feels like you are deep in the woods. A really cute spot, definitely room for a few tents and cars. We had the added bonus of it smelling like sweet corn the whole time due it its proximity to a corn field. Definitely plan on coming back, Matthew and his family were super kind & he even offered us wood if needed!

Great area with lots of space to set up camp with privacy, alone or in a group. Nice fire pit and we purchased firewood from the host who was nice and accommodating. We would stay here again!
