A highlight of our property is the large dock equipped with a charming tiki hut, a picnic table for al fresco dining, and a Solo fire pit surrounded by Adirondack chairs, creating the perfect spot to unwind and witness breathtaking sunsets. For furry friends accompanying you on your journey, our fenced backyard ensures a safe and enjoyable space for them to roam. Whether you're a nature enthusiast, sunset lover, or simply seeking a peaceful RV retreat, our space offers a blend of comfort and natural beauty. Your RV adventure begins here, where comfort meets the beauty of Mattox Creek.Pull in with your motorhome or back in your trailer or 5th wheel and enjoy a perfect view of Mattox Creek with picnic table & firepit on our large dock. The tiki hut has running water and electricity and the sunsets are spectacular! We have an extra boat slip for campers to use and a marina close by to launch a boat for a small fee. The location is in the very historic Northern Neck with George Washington’s Birthplace National Park within a 10 minute drive, Stratford Hall Historic which is an opportunity to learn about the courage and leadership of Richard Henry and Francis Lightfoot Lee as they signed the Declaration of Independence, and with their family, helped give birth to the United States of America. There is a historic vineyard within 15 minutes and breweries within 30 minutes. Downtown Colonial Beach has lots to offer with restaurants, beaches and shops.

Harbor View RV Site

Absolutely Wonderful Site

My wife and I decided to rent an RV for the first time. We started in Florida and stayed at a couple of KOAs up the East Coast. We were not impressed with how much they cost and overall non personal aspect of them. We found Judi and Berry's site for something different for 2 days. WE LOVED IT!!!! Judi and Berry were very helpful since they knew we were rookies. They helped us set up and make sure everything was safe. They were very nice and responsive to questions but were not overbearing. The view is just beautiful overlooking the water. We had our dog with us and Judi and Berry allowed us to use their fenced-in backyard to let our little girl run around so we could relax. They also let us use their dock with a firepit and even had wood for sale for us which was very nice so we could watch the beautiful sunset over the water. We saw a family of ducks that visited the yard, a crane, and a turtle. We had great service on our Verizon phones that allowed us to have internet for our computers. We were worried about the roads going to the site with our 30-foot RV but there was no issue at all getting there. If you are on the fence about booking this location, do yourself a favor and book it because you will not regret it. My wife and I are already talking about renting an RV again just to come back here in the future.

Perfect R&R with a View!

My husband and I had the best stay at Judi’s! We wanted to cancel our following plans with family in order to stay longer because we felt so at peace. They went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable and felt at home. We weren’t even sad about the rain- great excuse to come back and enjoy the tiki hut out back on the water!

Happy camping / water view!

We recently had the pleasure of staying here and couldn't have asked for a better experience. The waterfront view was absolutely breathtaking, especially during the stunning sunsets. We even had the opportunity to witness majestic eagles and graceful swans in their natural habitat. For those who enjoy fishing, this place is a true paradise. The serene surroundings and calm waters made it the perfect spot to cast a line and unwind. And if you're traveling with kids, you'll be delighted to find a great playground on-site. The little ones will have a blast while you soak in the beauty of the surroundings. But what truly made this stay exceptional were the hosts. They went above and beyond to ensure our comfort and enjoyment throughout our stay. Their hospitality and attentiveness were truly remarkable, making us feel right at home. We can't recommend this Colonial Beach location highly enough. It's an awesome site with incredible views, fantastic amenities, and hosts who truly care about their guests. Whether you're looking for a peaceful getaway or a fun-filled family vacation, this place has it all. Don't miss out on the opportunity to experience this hidden gem for yourself.
