We loved it!!
Camping at Graves Mountain was the best decision my friend and I made. I just got in the nursing program and I needed to do summer homework, the Wi-Fi was a godsend. The staff was so amazing, there were so many activities to do. Some of the reviews on here say they didn't end up finding the showers. If you go to the lodge, they give you free hot showers in a nice area off one of the cabins. The camping spots were in a beautiful area of the valley, absolutely recommend!!

Great site with nearby amenities
We had an amazing time camping and exploring at Graves mountain farm & lodge. Check in was straight forward if you follow the directions posted on the board at the entrance to the site. The dispersed camping was great as we got to select our own spot and there was plenty of space in the two available fields they had open at the time. There were lots of porta potties available, they were clean and well stocked. I would suggest bringing/ buying wood as there’s not enough around to create a substantial fire but kindling and twigs were ample if you go to the field edges. There are many planned activities and things to see/do around the farm if you need something to keep you occupied; food at the market and restaurant were both great. We hiked white oak canyon trail Saturday morning and were pleased to find the trail head less than 10 minutes from the camp site. We did experience loud neighbors our first night. They were a group of young people seemingly having a bonfire party more so than camping. They let off ground fireworks and smashed pallets to burn until about 1 am. There are posted quiet hours after 10pm but there was no staff to enforce this on site. We did try calling the lodge but it was after hours and decided to chalk it up as a loss at that point. We almost didn’t stay our second night but when we got back from our day hike the group had left so we decided to give it another shot and our second night was absolutely perfect! We would love to camp here again!

Beautiful Camping w/Great Amenities
Graves Mountain Farm had so many cool/fun amenities. We took advantage of the fly fishing lessons, the awesome swimming holes on the property, and the restaurant at the main lodge. Tim, the fishing instructor, was super nice and knowledgeable. We did tent camping on the property, and the camping area was beautiful with plenty of shady spots and space. We especially loved the close proximity of the property to the White Oak Canyon hiking trail at Shenandoah National Park, which was a short 10-15 min drive from our camping spot. We also spent some time at the Ducard Vineyard, which was also about a 10-minute drive from the camping spot. Overall, it was a great experience and had fun options for everyone in our group. We will definitely be visiting Graves Mountain Farms & Lodges again!

Great campsite - don’t book online
The campsite was well maintained and easy to find. Some people were listening to music loudly until 11:30 pm (I know this won’t happen every time, but just an fyi). I’d recommend not making a reservation on here - it isn’t required and you won’t have to pay taxes/fees. It’s a flat $12/person when you pay in person.
