Get away from it all and relax in nature. We have rolling pasture, old wood forest, streams and two ponds on our property. Beautiful tranquil views everywhere. We have a small pond with all kinds of frogs, spring peepers. We also have a larger pond that has catch and release fishing.We have a 13x13 canvas bell tends with a real queen bed, wood stove, a small solar generator for charging, pot and pans, utensils, dishes mugs, pillows, sheets, and blankets. Outside we have an “outhouse”, fire pit, chairs, and a table, a gas grill and an egg grill. We also provide a camp stove for cooking. We have a pond in front of the tent, old woods, pasture and creeks. We also have a larger pond on the property you can catch and release fish. We have many different wild herbs and a ton of black walnut trees, (help yourself to the black walnuts in the fall)

Motorcycle oasis and beyond!

We are so happy to have stumbled upon this camping oasis … they were nothing but amazing hosts. The space was a secluded dream with downtown Woodstock 25 minutes away. The wood stove inside tent was an added bonus for chilly fall nights. And the blankets were so warm and cozy as well. So many amenities for a sweet glamping spot. We will be back for another adventure. 10/10

Glamping at Fairy Glen

Glamping at John & Sue's was an incredible experience. The tent was spacious and cute and the campsite well cared for. John and Sue were attentive and considerate but also happy to give us space We were also able to walk up to the pasture and see the cows and sheep! I would definitely recommend this camp to others!

It was an amazing stay! Lovely location nestled in the Shenandoah valley provide beautiful views! Excellent fire pit, grill, and other amenities. The yurt was cozy for two people and their dog!

The Camp at Fairy Glen

What a dream! Fairy Glen was the perfect place to take my 4 year old camping. Sue and John have everything you need- just bring food and clothes. The tent was so comfortable. We also had fun exploring the streams and ponds- we even caught a fish. I could not recommend this enough, we will be back.

Rest with Serenade

We stayed overnight in the bell tent after a long drive, and it provided a much need rest with a lovely serenade of the night sounds while we slept. The host was quick to respond and kind. It is obvious that much thought and effort was put into the private campsite. The outhouse was clean, the tent was clean, the bed was superbly comfortable. There was time to wander before check out and we lingered by the creek with a lovely swing, and on the bench lakeside. We have a found a place for rest and peace. :-)

Nice people, nice dogs

The site is lovely, secluded and forest-y. The hosts are super kind and have thought of everything. A terrific stay!
