Beer and nature come together here at Devils Backbones Camp. We’re tucked in the Rockfish Valley in the Blue Ridge Mountains, five miles from the Appalachian Trail and the Blue Ridge Parkway. Our forested paradise is open year round. Here you’ll find 71-acres of campground, including 25 full RV hookup sites, 22 standard non-electric sites, and 24 primitive tent sites (and yes, there’s a 24/7 bath house, too). Our Basecamp Brewpub is open 7 days a week. Please visit our website for up-to-date hours and events.

Would do it all over again!
Absolutely an amazing campground. We had a large group of 7 guys in a nice tree-shaded lot that’s walking distance to the brewery and bath house. The entire area was incredibly clean and spaced out. I feel like they can add in more camping lots, but I’m glad they don’t to add some extra privacy. You do have great cellphone service so no need to worry about getting work done or being in touch with friends & family. As always the beer is fantastic and the food is wonderful. I highly recommend anyone to take the opportunity to go camp there. Just make sure to book far in advanced!

Excellent site, large and tree covered. Seperate from the rest of the camp. Very clean. Good firewood.

This spot was a very peaceful and secluded spot away from other sites (only one neighbor) and was such a short walk to Devil's Backbone Brewery/Restaurant. It was also so spacious!

103 was a great camp spot, a lot of privacy especially on a busy weekend. The shade was nice since it was hot and having the brewery right there was nice.

This was a cool spot, bathrooms were clean and kept well and a really short walk to the brewery which is really cool
