100 Acres of forested land in the Draper, Virginia area with scattered clearings that are connected by various roads/trails throughout. Over the years cutting roads has been a hobby that has resulted in miles of cleared pathways throughout the property that are perfect for hiking, running, cycling, and horseback riding. The property includes a small stream, several ravines, ridge lines and trails to explore. We frequently encounter deer, rabbits, squirrels, and the occasional turkey, black bear, coyotes and Bigfoot. The thing people seem to enjoy most is the privacy and and quiet that allows you to connect with nature with no one else around. Things to watch out for other than the wildlife mentioned above the two main concerns in this part of Virginia are deer ticks and poison ivy. We are located about 5 minutes from I-81 or 15 minutes from I-77 making it an easy place to stop when passing through on your way to other adventures. If you are coming on I-81, use exit 89-A. Don't let Google maps take you to Frog Level Ct near the town of Pulaski (LOL). Nearby attractions include Appalachian Gem and Gold Mine on Route 100 (5 min), New River Trail State Park (10 min), Claytor Lake State Park (20 min) and the Town of Draper has a couple small town shops to explore including The Draper Mercantile and Trading Company and the newly opened Conery where you can get wonderful ice cream cones and more. We love hosting campers and are happy to help make accommodations to help you have an enjoyable stay. We have 3 sites but only allow 2 to be in use at a time on the property. This insures that all guests continue to feel complete privacy from others and allows us to always have an alternate site available if campers want to change. Available "Extras" include portable toilet setup, Woodshop class making a cutting board, big foot siting's as well as various camping gear items and games. If there are other extra's you would like to see or something you forgot to bring please let us know and we will see what we can do.

Beautiful views and very sweet owners! We had a perfect fall weekend at this campsite. You get an amazing view of the sunrise and the stars! We lucked out and even got to see a comet. The owners put a lot of work into this campsite and you can tell. We loved our stay here!

Stellar!
What a wonderful evening/night I had at 100 Acre Wood! It was just a quick one night stay and I wished I had longer to explore the property. It’s just beautiful! David and Kathy were there to greet me and answer questions, etc. I had water with me, but they offered water which was such a nice touch. I didn’t have the energy to have a campfire, but if I had decided to have one, there was wood at the site covered with a tarp to keep it dry. So nice! I had no trouble driving my 18 foot camper van to and from the site. I would highly recommend this Hipcamp… Great communication and great location.

Very well maintained site! Large clearing with a nice wide fire pit. Ample room for multiple tents. David was a pleasure to talk too.

Easter Egg Meadow Campsite
A beautiful piece of property! I wish I could transport my entire outdoor forest homeschool class here. The trails are lush with nature treasures. It was a peaceful night as we listened to an occasional owl hoot. The host was kind and offered us a tour. I truly wish we arrived with more time to do so.

Easter Egg Meadow Campsite
We had a wonderful stay at Easter Egg Meadow. Levi stopped by the first day to greet us and bring us potable water. Our two dogs were able to run off leash around the meadow and the many trails around the property. Everything was relaxing and well maintained. We were given a tour of the property and some knowledge about the local nature and wildlife. It was a perfect stay. This was our first hip camp stay, however we do plan to find a time to visit one of the other campsites on the property as we enjoyed it so much!
