1 acre hosted by Holly C.
Situated 10km from the 12 Apostles Marine National Park in a secluded spot; Princetown is a lovely village on the Gellibrand river and a close walk to local beaches.
Surrounded by stunning views of rolling hills, local flora and fauna, the winding Gellibrand river and wild ocean; immerse yourself in nature and get back to basics in peaceful and serene Princetown.
Our block is located in town on half an acre overlooking the Gellibrand river and rolling green hills. There are only a handful of blocks in Princetown, and a very small community of friendly locals, including Kangaroos, echidnas and possums.
Campers and RV's are welcome to stay on the block but need to be mostly self sufficient with their own water, food, and take their rubbish with them. When it's not fire season you can use the fire pit to light a fire or have a bbq. There are public toilets a short walk into town but no potable water on the block or in town. There is a general store and pub in town but neither are currently leased/open.
Take a stroll down to the river and along the boardwalk to the Gellibrand river or further along to the river mouth and beach. Swim or kayak in the river or go fishing at the river local jetty. At the end of the boardwalk is an access trail to the Great Ocean Walk where you can enjoy a hike to take in the scenery along the Great Ocean Road.
If you'd like to see the local wildlife head down the boardwalk and road to the Princetown Caravan Park where you will be sure to see Kangaroos at dawn and dusk.
