Our stay at Davis’s farm was exactly as described - peaceful, quiet, and perfect for camping. The place is surrounded by beautiful pine and carob trees, with lovely farm animals, and you can simply enjoy walking around. Davis was a great host, communicated clearly, and showed us around. You need to bring all your essentials, but once you do, it’s a wonderful place to relax and connect with nature. We had a great time and would definitely consider coming back!
We really enjoyed our overnight stay at Murrnong Farm. David was great to chat with about the history of the farm and more specifically we learnt something about bees (we keep bees) and I loved that you could purchase organic olive oil and other produce! Was nice to explore Violet Town on foot for walks in the evening and the morning and we'd love to visit again another time. David was gracious and allowed us to bring our dog.
Absolutely delightful stay.
David was very welcoming and told us a lot about the property. The campsite had plenty of shade (which was great for our dog too, who had a great stay). The toilets were also kept in such great condition. We went during a hot weekend and took a daytrip to Gooram Falls, which we would really recommend. David invited us to milk the goats with him one morning, which was such a special experience too.
We had such a great stay at Murrnong! David was an awesome host - checking in to make sure we were all ok. We had a great time milking the beautiful goats and enjoyed exploring the farm. Toilets were clean and town was walkable. We will be back!
