Hello There My Property is 2 farms combined to make 160 acres. We are located about 18 minutes from Torquay and 10 minutes from the Waurn Ponds Shopping Center We have 2 sites we are happy to start with "Dam' - is down by the big dam funnily enough - (Its very low at the moment as we have not had a lot of rain for run off since Nov 2022 !!) The dam has been home to Swans, Turtles, Eels, Yabbies and Trout, though as I have said its currently at its lowest water mark since its construction in the 70's. "Dam" has its own entrance off a side road, and is reasonably protected from most of the prevailing winds. There are a couple of different camp spots down here to choose from. This site is adjacent to a seasonal/dry creek which is fenced off, and there is plenty of timber for your fire which we encourage you to gather and use to help clean up the ground and reduce the wildfire risk. "Valley Views" is up the hill a bit - This over looks the valley and over towards the Otways. It's a cracking spot to sit back and enjoy the last moments of the day. This is adjacent to about 5 acres of timbered holding paddocks - Plenty of Firewood and we encourage you to use as much as you want to help clean up the ground and reduce the wildfire risk. Access to this site is through the main farm driveway and through a few gates...you can come and go as you like though. The farm is home to Cattle and a few Sheep and a healthy mob of Kangaroos that have exploded in numbers over the last 10 years, echidnas, possums and a diverse range of bird life are abundant. Fires -We are happy for small fires in the supplied fire pit when the weather is appropriate. - Definitely not on Total Fire Ban Days and at our discretion on others. Waste - Please leave nothing but footprints - and bury your "organic" waste away from the camp areas. Water - BYO Gates - Leave them as you see them Dogs - Due to stock that may be in adjacent paddocks we prefer no dogs.

Dam Paddock

A great stay, good location for exploring the beach towns at the start of the Great Ocean Rd. Private and good view. Host was friendly and helpful. Just be conscious there has been livestock in the field.
