To start, we very much appreciated her simply being open, as it was the off-season, with snow on the ground. Beyond that, when we arrived, we were thrilled to see that she had a fire already going, with more than enough additional wood ready to go.

Unforgettable memories!

We originally booked a camp site in Finger lakes region for Total Eclipse however, we noticed that the weather would haven't been good for the once-in-a-life experience. Sunday morning when we were supposed to hit the road, we did a last-minute search and found this amazing campsite. Katherine responded promptly and it made our improvisation way easier. She gave us a heads-up that how the weather condition over there it was, so we were able to be ready for 20'F cold night. She even put the solo stove in the communal area, and it was surprisingly helpful to cook, stay warm, and relax! It was a nice touch so that the campers gathered and hung out together. Unlike other places I looked up earlier, she even let us stay after check-out hour until the eclipse was completed. There was a town hall right next to the campsite, so we could the restroom during daytime. It's such a beautiful place to stay. Thank you for being such a great host.

Simple but convenient
Tent
The Pasture is exactly what the name suggests, a large grassy plot of land right in Peacham :-) Katherine was very responsive and accommodating, and since I was there off-season there were limited facilities (no toilet, known in advance). Water and Wi-Fi were available and the setting is very pleasant, although in a rural community. Be aware that the church next door has early morning day care so pick a site accordingly. The location, however, made it extremely convenient to attend a nearby training course. I would stay there again if I needed to be in that area. I was in a 4WD mid-size pickup and the entrance may be a challenge for a low car. Overall, I was satisfied and happy!
