Voted 3rd in Vermont by Hip Camp 2022 6 Sites are on Sunrise Farms 75 acre Conservation land with 50 mile view for Sites 1 and 2. Very quiet area with lots of wildlife and ponds and disc golf. Very quiet with great swimming and lots of hikes right from your sites. 2 of the Brookside Sites (Wishbone Left and Right) are close by (2.7 miles) where we have another 1/2 mile of river frontage and can handle bigger groups as Conservation land on Sunrise Farm only allows 4 campers per site. Sunrise Farm Sites 1 and 2 have oodles of space and Spectacular 50 mile views of Mount Monadnock with no house lights out there in the evening except the party string lights we provide. Site 1 (with entrance 70 yards south of the farmhouse) is best for camping in with up to 20 foot trailers or multiple tents …on the large flat spaces in the 25 acre field to choose from. Great Well water available near farmhouse. Biodegradable soaps Only if used in the ponds. Double Olympic sized Swim Pond we stock with Rainbow Trout to keep clear. We have been advised Not to allow imported firewood (can import Wood Beetle dangerous for our forest). - PLEASE use the Firewood bundle tubs we provide ($11) - pick up at the farmhouse or pull wood from the woods (and make it safer for use). Beautiful and plenty of wildlife nearby... as well as Port a Potties are marked on Map we provide with solar lights marking them at night. Do Not Leave food out when camping or away from site. Bears are rarely seen but it is wild country. Sites have locking garbage lids. Unique and lovely as well as being next to trails and roads to miles of remote spots with very few if any ... people. In Winter we request only AWD vehicles go down to this site or park up by farmhouse and hike in so you can easily get out. When wet park up by the road if you have 2 wheel drive. Always WISE to arrive When LIGHT out as we do not live at the site and are not able to show guests to their sites as a result.

Sunrise farm #3 Site: “LOTUS POND”
Great place to Chill
The site was absolutely gorgeous. Nicely quiet except for the peepers and crickets which was great. The dogs had such a great time and were able to run around with plenty of room. The little pond is adorable. Had a little difficulty and confusion at the beginning finding water for the RV as well as wood but Roy the host was able to guide us where things were location. Roy was pretty prompt in getting back to me with where things were.

Site 1 Sunrise Farm S Side of house
This was the second time we stayed at Site 1 on Sunrise Farm, and we loved it just as much as the first. The views out from this site out over the mountains are AMAZING. It's super convenient to have the water and electric hook-ups, and outhouse for your own use. Roy welcomed us to the site and helped us get set up with the hoses and cords. We loved taking walks along the dirt road through the neighboring farms, and exploring the trails on Roy's land.

Site 1 Sunrise Farm S Side of house
Beautiful mountain views and field to camp on. Slightly challenging to find a flat spot for our van. We managed with the maxtrax boards (used 3 for front passenger and 1 rear passenger). Outhouse was in great shape and feels like such a luxury to have while camping. Unexpected WiFi at our site, even out on the field! Our dogs had a great time swimming in the pond, just a short walk down the road. Not much shade on the site since it’s an open field so we did ask for the listed umbrella, and Roy brought it within an hour. On the other hand, there is a tiny house with a full time occupant and 2 dogs that was much closer than we expected it to be, especially since we have 2 dogs. Site 2 was also closer than expected. The tiny house and site 2 had direct views of us which felt like we were on display. Sunday we left earlier than planned due to a community walk that would be passing by and using our outhouse. We had about an hours notice and decided to leave early. All neighbors were quiet and kept to themselves which we appreciated with having dogs ourselves. Had site 2 had different campers at the time, our stay could’ve been very different. Overall we had a quiet, beautiful weekend with stunning views of the stars. Mixed review for us since it wasn’t quite what we expected privacy wise but if you’re okay with closer neighbors, then highly recommend!

Site #6 “Yellow Tractor” tent of RV
Camping at Roy’s was Phenomenal
The land and site were well kept and beautiful area. There are trails surrounding that aren’t overgrown and are well kept. They go for some distance and are great for hiking/walking with even small dogs. Roy was incredibly helpful and very friendly. I would/will absolutely come back. We stayed for a short 2days2nights and we had a great time and wish we had stayed even longer to further explore. Roy has all sorts of great recommendations of things to do in the area based on the season as well, so do pick his brain! 10/10 will do again.
