Enjoy the sounds of nature when you stay in this unique place. Imagine all the amenities of a campground, but you scored the only site on a 500 acre working maple syrup farm. Its a 10 minute uphill walk from your car, or for an additional fee we can shuttle your gear up to the site based on host availability. We provide the tent, cots with insulated mattress, BBQ, outhouse, and water for the outdoor kitchen and shower. For an additional fee we will also provide sleeping bag with liner and pillows for up to 4 guests. The tent has room for 4, if your group number exceeds 4 you will need to bring an additional tent and sleeping gear. We have 2 single and 1 queen size cot. To fit fit 4 the single cots will need to transition into bunk beds. There is plenty of hiking and backcountry skiing right outside the door. At the base of the driveway there is a popular river suitable for swimming, paddling and floating. We are close to multiple mountain biking trails, local restaurants, breweries and are just off the long trail. This is outdoor glamping at its finest. You will have a fully setup campsite including outdoor kitchen and solar shower (For an additional fee a heated shower can be arranged) Cutlery, plates, camp stove and BBQ are included as well. We provide drinking water, an outdoor picnic table and a clean outhouse. There is a battery pack for tent lighting and charging your devices. For an additional price we can provide the bedding- sleeping bag, liner and pillow. You will be secluded with no visible house in site. There is endless hiking and backcountry skiing right outside your door. We provide a small propane operated indoor heater for your comfort in colder months. There is also a fully equipped tree house for rent on the premises.

Cozy Tucked Away Campsite
With pets
Mike's Basecamp was awesome!! We came in to drop our stuff off before heading off. He isn't kidding about the climb, but it was well worth it to get to this little slice of heaven. The three of us and our pooch had plenty of room in the canvas tent. There was a lantern and a battery pack for our convenience. We borrowed a sleeping bag which was set up upon arrival. It did rain on us, but the overhang kept the tent dry and left us with the perfect amount of space for our gear to stay dry. There was plenty of downed wood around to keep a cozy fire going. Mike keeps the the site, including the compost toilet, clean and well maintained. All in all a gem of a spot and we hope to come back!

Wonderful campsite and great hosts!
This campsite was amazing! Exactly as described in the listing. The site is very private, a good 10 min walk into the woods from the main property (so if you're looking for peace and not having other campers nearby, this is a great spot). The tent is spacious and the mattresses/cots are comfortable. The kitchen is great, equipment is well maintained. The compost toilet is very clean and doesn't smell at all, which is rare! Nice fire pit too. All in all just excellent! The only "negative" aspect I would say is that you can hear the highway noise a bit, but that's all. My experience with the host Mike and his wife Kristine was a solid 11/10. Great communication, very welcoming. I had forgotten one of my bags which had all my electronics and my head lamp, and Kristine was kind enough to lend me a headlamp so I could get to the campsite (they were also very accommodating about the fact that I arrived after dark, which indeed there is a reason why they specify to arrive when there's daylight so you can find the trail). She also gave me (like actually gave me) a USB cable so I could charge my phone! But most importantly, Kristine lent me her bike (i don't have a car or license) so that I could get to a trailhead nearby!! That was certainly going above and beyond as a host and I was very grateful. Even got some great recommendations for awesome trails in the area! All this to say that I 100% recommend this stay! Beautiful site and awesome hosts. Will certainly be back!

Clean, simple & comfortable stay!
Lovely, comfortable, clean, and simple! This quaint campsite was a perfect stop over for a night on my partner and I's recent road trip through Vermont. The surrounding forest is beautiful; the camp set up was exactly what we'd hoped for on a trip where we didn't bring our own camping gear. Tent was comfortable & clean, we added bedding which was very comfortable and easy. The outhouse was one of the cleanest I've seen in ages. Thanks for the cozy stay in your woods on our first visit to Vermont!

We had a great stay at Robbin’s camp. It was a last minute booking and Mike was very accommodating and quick to respond. Reviews felt accurate about the walk up the hill, and the site was completely private. The tent and cots were comfortable and extra amenities were all thoughtfully put together. I definitely recommend it if you’re in the area!
