Come camp on the shores of the Missisquoi River. Beautiful views of Jay Peak and Enosburg Mountain. Our campsite is set in a grove at the end of a meadow. Adjacent to the Missisquoi Recreation Trail, our site offers easy access to scenic biking and hiking, stretching 10 miles north to the Canadian border and 20 miles west to St.Albans, a great town on Lake Champlain. Due to our location on the river, you will undoubtedly see beavers, geese, ducks, blue heron and other waterfowl. If you're lucky, you might spy the family of river otters, a deer, turtles, and wild turkeys. The Enosburg Golf Course is 5 minutes away. Jay Peak Resort and Smugglers Notch are both about a 35 minute drive. Lots of mountains to climb and trails to hike within minutes. There are several local swimming holes nearby. Our location is approximately 1.5 hours to Montreal, Quebec and 1 hour to Burlington Vermont.Come camp on the shores of the Missisquoi River. Beautiful views of Jay Peak and Enosburg Mountain. Great spot. Solid tent. It would've been pretty frigid without a fire. Was really lovely.

Sweet little oasis near Burlington
Beautiful and quiet spot along a peaceful river. It is secluded and private. The bed is comfortable and the host was very easy to work with! I will stay again if I make it back up that way.

Private, River View & Cornfields
Overall our stay was fine and the site provided privacy and a bit of calm being next to the river. However, the sunshower nozzle was broken and not filled upon our arrival so basically we didn't have time to use it. There was a hose, so that was fine for rinsing off after a long day of biking. The water container had a split in it and was dirty inside- we never used that either. The tent platform was nice and the bed comfortable. Could have used a sweep out before we got there. Even though it was a serene setting, the road noise and local farm noise was pretty constant. It was corn harvest time, and yes, even at night. Location was pretty handy-just a 5 minute ride back into town. Kathy's Tavern is a fun spot for a beer and burger!

Great location! The site is very private with beautiful views of the river. There is everything for a basic camping set-up. A mowed path from the site brings you to the Missisquoi Valley Rail trail which connects with the Lamoille Valley Rail Trail. I had a nice time riding my bike in both directions from this camp. Bill is friendly and welcoming.
