Former Dairy Farm but, the milking and hay barns burned many years Past. Harold's View Farm now camping. There are 4 entrances to the 80 acres of hay fields, now camping sites. Three entrances are for two sites each, the house entrance is for any questions. Please stop in if you have questions. The fields have been maintained to some degree until 2019 when Lee came up with the idea of primitive camping. The land turns out to be ideal because each site makes you feel like the only campers there. New this year you will find a picnic table for 6 and a 3 Ft. dia. fire pit with adjustable grill that flips out for open fire @ each site. Another new item is open to the sky "Hot Shower"

Hemlock Canvas Tent
Louella’s place was perfect for what we needed! A beautiful campsite, not far from town, with lots of open space and privacy for us and our dog. The tent was dry despite continuous rain for several days and came with lots of bedding and blankets to stay warm!

Simply charming
We had a wonderful experience and will definitely be back! Louella was lovely, and the site was perfect. We stayed in a tent at both Madine's and Harold's sites, and both were fantastic with stunning views. We also want to thank you for everything and the little gift on our table the next morning 🪺

Beautiful camping with amazing view
Beautiful camping with amazing views ! Louella’s camping was exactly as excepted. The spot were we planted our tent was flat enough. Since it’s in a large land, there is not a lot of trees so it can get super warm during the day but we still loved it. The outdoor hot shower was more than welcome after a few days camping. I never had such a view while showering! The site is also not so far from the Burlington area which is practical. I would come back ! Pros : - Beautiful views - Big camping spot - Dog Friendly - The commodities (fire pit, picnic table, hot shower, portable potty) - Near Essex and Burlington - Private spot Cons : - We could hear the road during the night (so if you’re looking for a 100% nature experience, maybe that’s not the place) - Not a lot of shade (but that’s also why it’s so beautiful!)
