Secluded Stream side Yurt.
Currently has a twin bed and futon. Sleeps 3 at most, it’s only a 14ft yurt.
A couple miles from Jay Peak ski hill is this little abode I erected in 2022. If you’re looking for the basics without all the accoutrements, a stay at Fort Llatikcuf might be your jam. There’s a water source (a clean and clear stream) as well as potable water in big blue 10 gallon jugs. A wood stove for heat (wood is on you, but feel free to use what’s there, usually a night or two’s worth).
There is a compost toilet for your sanitary needs.
You will be secluded, minus the grouse and other natural friends (which occasionally visit).
It’s a great spot at a great price. Please respect the land, stream and the ethic of the place. It’s quite special. The yurt is situated on about an acre of land at the end of a dead end road. Surrounding the land is more wooded private land, so you have complete privacy and seclusion. You do you.
