Where the Wild Things Tent/Car Camp
Coop but abandoned
The campground was very unique- you can gather that from the photos and other reviews. I was excited about the experience however, we stayed over labor day weekend, and for 2 days we did not see a single person, not even the host. It was odd. And because there is a junk yard nearby it gave it a very creepy/abandoned vibe. By the second night, since it was just myself and my son, we decided to pack up and leave even though we paid for 2 nights. It just didn't sit right with both of us and gave us an unsafe feeling. I don't have anything bad to say about the campgrounds because everything was as advertised but I wish I had known going into it that there wasn't a host on-site. Also, coming from Colorado, we typically pay $20-25 a night for a campsite with running water, bathrooms, firepits and grills, and dumpsters for trash. I found it strange to pay $45 a night and the only amenity was a porta potty. It you are adventurous and not concerned about being out in the middle of nowhere alone, I'd reccomend checking it out.

Good site for tent camping! Be sure to read directions in private message, as the link takes you to a nearby resort. (He told us this in his message, I had just forgotten to re-read it!)
Fun place to clamber up and over rocks and look out over the fields. Got windy the night we were there, but nothing too dramatic for our tent.

Don't come here with a tent or a mo
The road was seriously treacherous for someone riding a street motorcycle. I barely made it. The site had nice sunsets and sunrises, but the ground was not suitable for a tent. The picker bushes and cow or horse poop all over was not what I expected. Also pipes laying all around.
Great site of you want to bake in the July heat with no shade. I camp a lot and this was one of the worse sites. This place should be free.

The place was deserted. When we got there there was just one couple and they were about to leave. We left the trailer there for couple hrs just until we found another place at least with a host in sight. We paid for two nights but it didn't matter. The place where we end up staying feel much safer.
