Great Location
We really enjoyed our stay at Sunrise camping. It is very basic and could do with some tlc, but it's location we loved. As others have said there is access to a path which not only gets you to a great spot to see sunrise and sunset, but will allowed us to pick up trails into the valley.

Sunrise campground
Great place to walk from to look out over Monument Valley at sun set and sun rise. Very basic campsite with just a basic toilet. We were in a RV and loved it.

Beautifull View and place because it’s near the Hôtel The View. Visitor center The dog piss on camp site grrr The restoroom was dirty and primitive No water The door lock by the stone Ouf !! It’s not a funny experience

Not to be recommended.
Great view of Monument Valley. Close to The View Hotel. Sites were not great. Toilets not clean. Lot of digs barking are night. Dogs piss on campsites.

Camping in the middle of the park!
We had a wondeful time here! A great place to camp in the middle of the park. Fabulous sunrise views. We stayed here in our van & had a moonlight fire overlooking the Buttes. Big recommendation: Hit the hike 1h before sunset & head on over. The views are breathtaking. It's onlya 10 minute walk & was the highlight of our stay.

Sunrise campground
We loved this place! The view is breathtaking, after a few minutes walk you can get a view to the valley. Campground was quiet, peaceful and safe. There are toilets and you can get a shower for 5 USD, near every site there is a table. The owner is nice and helpful. Highly recommend it!
